Disneydoc is off to Saratoga Springs!

Yippee - the waitlist came through! I did not think I was going to pull off a trip that includes the 4th of July on property- no studios for the whole length of my trip. And especially on short notice - I just decided to go for sure a few days ago.

So....I am headed to Saratoga Springs for my first full week at that resort. I stayed there for just 2 nights last fall when I went down for a quick Halloween party trip. Looking forward to the walking paths around the resort, the pools, and checking out the progress at DTD!

I know the 4th is crazy crowded - I was there that week in 2012. It was still really fun and the fireworks were amazing. I will plan to brave the crowds on July 3 for MK, and maybe do Epcot or HS on the 4th for whatever special stuff they may have.

More plans to follow....and even some ADRs.... yay

Gotta call member services and get some help. Just renewed my AP with the DVC renewal discount, but MDE still thinks my ticket will be expired and is not letting me snag those fast passes yet. Can you say Mine Train???

yay yay So happy for you, Doc!! We didn't see too much of our home resort when we were there--too much playing in the parks--but it seemed really nice, so I hope you enjoy it!!

See you shouldn't have to. When ever we make a reservation, all I have to do is refresh and it's connected to my MDE. Disney does that automatically, or they do for us.

Mine Train fast pass - check!
Tonys Town Square - check!

Ressie made for June 28 in Macon, Ga (working a late concert event in Atlanta that night, and will just drive south instead of 45 minutes home in the opposite direction of Disney)

Hmm..DTD on arrival evening, or will I not be able to resist a park...Raglan Road? Check out the new Starbucks? Shop? Or maybe WPE? Decisions, decisions... mickey

Checked out the menu - grilled fish or chicken, and I see veggies. I will ask the waiter to build me a dinner - I bet they will! I want those green beans almondine! Think I will try it. I will be starving when I arrive, and ready to sit down for a nice rest and meal. Then off to explore!
