displaying a picture

I hope someone can tell me how can I show pictures in the body of my text without having do to an attachment? I just can't seem to get that and I have tried. Any guidance in this will be much appreciated. Thank you.

do you mean like in a trip report? I use photobucket, you upload your pics to that website and then use one of the links next to the photo and write that bit in your post and that makes the picture appear.... if that makes sense?

Umm...maybe but am not sure...like when i wanted to show my Magic Bands had arrived I had to put the picture in my PC picture folder and do an upload. But anyone who wanted to see the picture had to click on the link. Whereas I see a lot of pictures when people are showing something from one of the parks and it isn't in an attachment. I know somethings on a computer makes my head spin and I'm not good at maybe explaining it. sad

I am NOT good at almost anything on the computer so I had the same problem as you at first. I finally figured out the easiest way for a "computer challenged" person, such as myself, to put a picture in a post.

When I want to put a picture in a post I go to the bar under the words "Attach files to this comment"(right under the box you're typing in) and click Browse. When I do that, it takes me to all the folders on my computer. I then click on my Pictures Folder, it then shows me all the pictures on my computer, I pick which one I want, click on it and wait for it to load to the forum. That's all there is to it and that's all I've ever done to put a picture on a post.

You still have a limit of 5 megabytes so with the newer cameras you may have to resize some photos. I thought I had a post about doing this on here, but I can't find it either. Oh well, back to work.
