Where's the best quick service food in Downtown Disney? Have Anyone tried Bongos Cuban Express?

In our opinion, Wolfgang Puck express in the Marketplace is the best food in Disney - and it just so happens to be quick serve!
What we like about it - the food is consistently excellent.
Although you have to queue to order, the food is brought out to your table.
They bring real silverware and you can have a glass of wine in a real glass.
It is amazing value if you are on the dining plan (It was included 2014 - I am assuming it is on for 2015?)
If you take the food "to go" they pack it up really well.
But Ssh don't tell anyone, it is one of Disney's best kept secrets.

Oh, so it's more fast casual than quick service eh? I'll go check out the menu now.
Its like the pub food service we have in the UK, you have to order at the bar/counter but after that it is basically a table service meal.
I have had the Chicken Alfredo on several occasions - unusual for me because I like to try different things but I loved it so much I kept going back for more. DH said the spaghetti and meatballs was very good. I have had the salmon and roast chicken and both were amazing.

Never had Bongos. I think I've had all the rest except the trucks. I vote EoS.

Yes, you can't go wrong with EOS. We always go there on every trip but it is a true quick serve, grab a sandwich, whereas WPE can be more of a full meal/event for QS prices - depends what you are looking for.

Both of these places are great, the food very different in each one, in WPE I loved the bacon wrapped meatloaf. And EOS is fab for something speedy (I also took one for the plane)
Did not try any other of the quick services.
I agree with Wolfgang Puck Express. My DOH and I were both blown away by how delicious and not "quick service"-y it was. The pizzas are awesome and both desserts we got were great. We would go there every single time we go to WDW from now on. Yum yum yum!!
My first choice would be EOS, but we were also really pleasantly surprised by WPE too. The pizza was really good.
I'm all about EoS. We hardly ever east anywhere else at DTD because it's so delicious and such a great value (we don't do DDP). We've only been to WPE once. I thought it was good, but Benn didn't care for it, so we haven't tried again. Cookes of Dublin is CS, right? I'd be interested in giving that a try. We haven't done Bongos, so I'm afraid I'm no help there.

I've only been to EOS for counter service and I love it. I can't stop raving about the Full Montagu. But I've also heard from others that Wolfgang Puck Express is also really good and a third choice to consider is probably Cookes of Dublin.
"All my life I wonder how it feels to pass a day, not above them but part of them.
And out there living in the sun, give me one day out there, all I ask is one to hold forever. Out there where they all live unaware, what I'd give, what I'd dare, just to live one day out there."
Wolfgangs for pizza...ghiradelli for dessert... i have friends who drank at Bongos...they said it was great alcohol...!
We ate at Crossroads at House of Blues for lunch last weekend. It doesn't look like there's a restaurant there. We had to ask if it was open. There is a limited menu for eating outside - I guess you can call that quick service - you can order from a window outside. It seems like they could handle large crowds, but there wasn't anyone there. We ate inside for the full menu. It's your basic American restaurant, like Fridays/Tuesdays/Applebees. I could eat there again.
I don't know Cuban food well enough for that to be my first choice.
Hi again..( been missing in action ) Id vote for WPE at Market Place..with a close Earls and Cookes..
always EOS for me but this June am going out of my convert zone and trying Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe...hope I don't regret this change.

Cookes gets my vote. Love to pop in and get some fish and chips. EOS is a close second.
We've always been impressed with WPE. As cuban food goes, I didn't think Bongos was that spectacular. Honestly, if you're doing QS anyway, stick with the food trucks - they've been great every time we've stopped.
Bongos was just OK. We have never eaten at EOS because it is always so crowded. We love WPE....great food and service. It's delicious and a great deal if you are on the dining plan.

Give it a try sometime. I promise the line moves super fast! Getting a table inside is sometimes another matter, but there's plenty of outside seating--even planters that aren't part of the restaurant offer a nice place to sit and enjoy your sandwich. Or soup. ohmygosh that tomato soup...yum!

I used to take one look at the Earl of Sandwich line and head straight for Pollo Campero to enjoy their delicious chicken. Then, sadly, Pollo Campero went away. So I got in the EoS line, and everything alicemouse said is true. The line moves amazingly fast and the sandwiches are awesome. Now it's a must for us every time we visit Downtown Disney - or more often if we happen to be staying at Saratoga Springs.
I've heard great things about Wolfgang Puck Express because it's more of a actual restaurant feel but we just can't get away from EOS every time!
Cookes of Dublin! Amazing fish and chips... I haven't had the ones in Epcot yet but if they are similar I am going to be very happy when I do try them.
The fish was hot, crispy and very fresh tasting and the big fat fries were a hit! The Dalkey Mustard will have me back alone.

I am not a fan of EoS at all have tried it twice and not enjoyed. I'm hoping we can swing by cookes this week or maybe even one of the food trucks

We love this place because we can get gluten free fish and gluten free onion rings Very very yummy!!!!
We've been to EoS before, it's a good sandwich, I really don't see all the fuss it gets.

EoS is usually my preferred lunchtime stop if I'm at DTD - the only thing I hate is the queue for the place! I've had fish and chips from Cookes and have to say it's probably the best place to get as close to authentic British fish and chips as possible. Also eaten at Rainforest but in the first or second year of my return to Disney in the 2000s - haven't eaten there since.
Yes, that's me in the profile pic...kudos for guessing the movie...
Wolfgang Puck Express! The food is excellent!
I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was so good! I can't wait to go back and get it again!

We ended up at Wolfgang Pucks Express and absolutely loved it! The BBQ Chicken Pizza was Tori's favorite meal of the entire trip. The Key Lime Pie was just to die for.
