DSW Glass Slipper Collection

So, you say you can't afford a pair of the Louboutin Cinderella Slippers? Never fear!

Disney's Ever After Blog announced their partnership with DSW in creating "The Glass Slipper Collection" for ever bride. Okay, maybe not for every bride, because I doubt they come in wide width, cute shoes so rarely do. But these beauties are available to many more brides than can invest in a pair of Louboutins! Which do you like best?

I bet they don't come in narrow width, either, so people with narrow feet would risk stepping right out of those babies.

Not a problem for me, since I never wear shoes like those anyway. And I'm already married.

Those sling backs with the bows on the front and the cream courts will be MINE! I'm not a shoe-addict or anything but those are so cute, wearable and Disney-fied without anyone noticing lol!

On the blog it talks about there being some sort of blue jewel on the bottom of all these shoes.
I wish they had a picture of it! If anyone buys a pair of these you need to post so we can see it.

I like the cream pair with the silver accents. However, if I tried to walk in those shoes I would need training wheels to get around.

No. Just....no. I have more respect for my feet than to subject them to that kind of torture. eek Not that I don't like the collection, they are very pretty to look at but wow, I would seriously be crippled after just an hour wearing those babies.

I can handle HIGH heels if I know that I'll be sitting down for the majority of the day, but I do agree for a wedding that these would be kind of insane. I wore Converses under my wedding dress and was perfectly happy!

I've seen a lot of glittery Toms under wedding gowns lately. LoL... wouldn't you know it they don't make those in wide width either? If it were my wedding I think I'd be rockin' some flip flops.

Have you tried Toms on? I have no idea how they fit but it's worth a try and I hear they are comfy. I'm still trying to talk myself into a pair of shoes from Angela Nuran. I'm used to wearing ballroom dance shoes and I've heard nothing but good things about them but the price tag stings!

No, I haven't. Tori might be able to wear them, sometimes she can just go up a size. I on the other hand probably really need a wide. I wonder what their biggest size is.

I'm all over those silver slingback's Kristen...lol. I hope I find them at DSW next time I go. I LOVE heels...they are my obsession (besides Disney). My husband is 6'5" and I'm 5'2" so I rocked a pair of 6" heels on my wedding day. I was blessed and was in fact wearing a pair of silver Louboutin peep toe pumps that day, and they were worth it...12 hours in those babies and not one blister. As for the Toms...they stretch...and they become loose once they get used to your feet. I wear them at school at least twice a week.

I think I need the blue shoes with the bow.
Our colors are Capri (granddaughter calls it Cinderella blue) and white.
These would be perfect for the dress I have for our dinner and dessert party.

Okay, that amazes me because Louboutin has outright said that you have to suffer for beauty and he doesn't care if women's feet hurt or become deformed wearing his shoes! LoL... you must have his perfect foot shape Smile

I'm a little green with envy, I would LOVE a pair of Louboutin, but they don't come anywhere near fitting my huge, fat, flat feet. Hrmmm.... I wonder where Daisy Duck buys shoes. wink

I'm not a huge fan of the blue ones but I'd take any of the rest of them! If I had to pick, the pink and gold slingbacks are my favorites!

If I tried to put my foot in one of those shoes I would be crippled for life - but they are pretty.

I was a little bit surprised myself that I didn't get any blisters...just the balls of my feet were sore. It's been harder to to fit into the shoes ever since I had my son...so I can only wear them for a shorter amount of time...now I have to save up for another pair that me feel nicely again...lol.

I'm old enough to remember when 3-inch heels were considered really high. I never went higher than 2 inches. And nowadays, I don't even go that high. Flats for me, please!
