Has This Ever Happened To You On Rollercoasters.?

Whilst shopping at my local mall today, one of the workers spotted my Disney T- Shirt and asked me if I liked the Rollercoasters to which I replied no...He said his parents took him to Disney when he was 15 and he lost his glasses on Splash Mountain..Never again he said...The only thing i lost was about 3 lbs in sweat after going on Space Mountain for the first and only time...Have any of you had anything lost when riding your favourite coaster at Disney..?..Tell us your story..

On trip many years ago I lost a shoe on SM. A very nice CM found it a few minutes later. At the time I was in a panic, not funny then very funny now!

Mine is not Disney related. I have had pretty good luck there on all the rides. I did lose my shoe on the Batman ride in Six Flags when I was in 6th grade. Worst part is that we never found it and I had to walk around with one shoe on all day. It was expensive to get in, so I was not going home even if it meant walking around like a crazy person all day.

I had a wardrobe malfunction on a UK roller coaster called colossus! Worst thing was it was captured on the ride photo! The only saving grace was the safety bar was the over the shoulder type that managed to minimise some of the damage.

I have yet to lose anything (*knock on wood*)!!! Though I've had to make grabs for sunglasses, flipflops and other sundry items more than once.

I've gotten better over the years. Now it's just a case of sitting on my shoes and making sure I've already got the glasses in my hand when the ride starts Laughing out loud

Live and learn I suppose Smile

Nightmare!!!!

My husband lost his cell phone on Expedition Everest. It slipped out of his pocket. Thankfully a CM found it!

Over at Thorpe Park? I hate the corkscrew at the end of the ride - they're too slow!

I've never lost anything on any of the many roller coasters I've been on. Everything goes into the fanny pack where it's nice and secure. Last month, though, I went to Six Flags Great Adventure. I didn't bring the fanny pack because as I've gotten older, it's become a little snug. I went on El Toro and almost lost my cell phone. I had my hands in the air (which is a typical riding position for me), and I felt it slide out of my pocket. The arms came down in a millisecond, and I managed to trap it between my elbow and my ribs, luckily.

While on The KTTK tour in 2010, I dropped my prescription sunglasses on the HM ride. Luckily a friendly CM was able to get them for me and I didn't have to miss the rest of the tour.

Then, a goat followed her home.

That's the one! I love the final loop as it seems really cheeky but yes the 5 corkscrew can be a bit jarring. My favourite ride there now is Stealth, I could ride that one all day.

Lost one of my favorite pins on that moving walkway getting off of POTC. Had the pins on a flap on my shoulder bag and it got caught under the moving hand rail. Damn near ate me before I could pull free.

MrHub has just jolted my old memory..Whilst waiting for our boat to sail off on POTC..I looked at my wrist and my magic band was gone.. eek ..I kept looking on the floor as we sailed away, but it wasn't until the end when I stood up my son pointed out I was sitting on it..How it came off in the first place God only knows..Panic over..

I've been lucky enough never to lose anything on rollercoasters, although I've witnessed plenty of things flying off them and my friend lost her camera over at the dark side (universal hollywood, if you must know). Customer Services over there were pretty poor and she lost it permanently...

I almost lost my lanyard on Space Mountain once. I thought I had a secure secondary hold on it, but when it became compressed between me and the lap bar, the velcro closure separated. I made a one-handed catch going around a turn! Needless to say, on the rare occasion that I venture onto this ride now, I tuck my lanyard securely in my bag.

I had a close call on the dark side.......

when I was younger we went on the Jurassic park ride clearly I was too traumatised by the ride itself (I'm a bit of a wimp!) that I forgot I had my cap on we were in the front row and cap went flying off and somehow a man in the back row caught it!!!

will never forget that as I loved that cap!!!

My dad lost his hat on Splash Mountain. He forgot to take it off and it flew off and went right over my head while we were going down the big drop. It was funny because in the picture its still on his head.
