We're pretty limited this year due to the size of our apartment. But I got enough out to ensure we showed our spirit!

Great photos people..I'am new here..Here's my tree with Monorail from Xmas 2012...P.S. I'am from Scotland, just 300 miles south of the North Pole...click photo to view correct way up..That's because I'am South of the North Pole..
Thanks for resurrecting the thread for 2013, mittens.
Scrappy & mrhub, I noticed that you had quite a collection of Byers Choice Carolers in one of your photos. Not sure where you're from, but have you ever been on the factory tour near Valley Forge/King of Prussia, PA? If you're not too far away, it's a pretty neat tour.
ZapperZ, that's quite an awesome pin collection. I've got the same concept going on in our family room, but not quite as extensive. I have three 17x22 boards and three 17x17 boards. I've started a 7th board, but I need mooooore piiiiiins!!!!

Any excuse for Xmas cheer..LOL..
Alicemouse, yes we have been there many times and actually we are going there today. The Byers Choice Factory is actually in Chalfont , Bucks County. To us it's not near Valley Forge. We live right between them but I can see from where you are coming from you would get off the turnpike at Valley Forge and go north.
awwwwwww i've loved looking through all the holiday pictures! getting me right in the mood I've been busy making decorations for this year as I wanted a more traditional and home made tree

To us it's not near Valley Forge.
Because of where we live in PA, we consider Baltimore to be our "metro area", so we rarely head over towards Philadelphia. It takes us 30 minutes to even get to the turnpike and driving PA30 out through Lancaster is drudgery. For me, any place that I've been that's near my cousin's house near Norristown is "near Valley Forge" because that's the turnpike exit that we take. Anything from Downingtown-->east on PA30 is "near Philly" LOL.
Have a great trip to the factory today! We took my aunt to Byers Choice and then for tea for her birthday one year. I considered the doll factory a necessary evil on the way to get some yummy tea sandwiches, but I was amazed at how cool that tour really was. I've since bought several of the dolls. I love that they are handmade locally and that each one is a unique work of art with a personality all its own--hmm that's one of the same things that I love about our animated friends.

Some video I took at Byers Choice Factory and Store.

Its easier to do it this way! Get ready for the holidays!
So pretty. Now you'll have to explain to me what a "Saint Key" is?
Its a "Santa Key". It's a very special magical key that Santa uses to get into houses of good little boys and girls that don't have a chimney for Santa to squeeze down on Christmas Eve. You hang the key outside and Santa uses it to get in. It only works for him.
Oh, it flashed by and I thought it said "Saint". That's adorable.
I couldn't wait any longer and had to get the tree up today, we didn't finish till after midnight so do you think it still counts as not putting it up till December?
95% of the tree decorations were made by me over the last few weeks

Looks great
OK, so here are our 2013 Holiday Decorations, focusing primarily on Disney-related decor.
When you walk in through the front door, this is what you see in the living room. This is the first of 3 trees we have. It isn't a Disney-decorated tree, but it does have a special Disney train around its base. This is the special limited edition "golden" train that was released at Disneyland for its 50th anniversary.
Moving on further into the living room, this is what I have on the coffee table. Got this cookie jar just this afternoon from the Disney Store. It was on sale for 25% off, and then I also used my Disney Visa to get an additional 10% off.
On a side table, I have this snow globe.
On a console table, I have several Jim Shores' Disney Christmas decor and also the Hallmark wireless Disney band.
On the dining room table, I have a couple of fiber optic Disney tree.
I have a couple of banners hanging in the dining room.

The steps leading down to the family room has one of my most favorite item, a Haunted Mansion holiday "wreath".
And now, we get to the family room. This is where I have my framed pins covering 3 walls. But the main attraction here is the tree that is covered in every square inch of it with Disney ornaments.
The rest of the holiday "citizens" sitting around near the pins and the tree.
Closer look at the ornaments on the Disney tree.
The third and final tree is also in the family room. This is a smaller tree sitting on a bookcase. It too is covered with Disney ornaments, but they are mostly globes. They sit on a bookcase with various Holiday Disney decor on either side.
Here's Holiday Perry sitting guard over my pins.
Large holiday stocking.
On the upper, bedroom level, there's a holiday Mickey standing guard.
We also have outdoor Disney decor, but I think you have an idea of how crazy the house looks from these photos.

I'm loving the Christmas decorations. I put my tree up today and started decorating it.
Love it guys! We are still in process of decorating too!
Fun! Good job I am not a guest in your house - you'd never get rid of me. I'd be oohing and ahhing over all the ornaments and decorations, and I'd want to see every one.

Time marches on. Eventually you realize it's doing it across your face.
We put our tree up on Thanksgiving we couldn't wait. We didn't realize how many Disney ornaments we bought this year until we put them all up! The tree is next to what is now known as the wall of Disney art. We started a tradition of picking up at least one piece of art work while visiting Disney. It's all from Disney Land and Disney World, with the exception of the Mulan painting, my husband painted it for me. She's one of my favorites Also, the signed Tron poster is just something my husband collected, not from the parks.
It's just the two of us, but my family is coming to visit so we set up stockings for them as well. So excited! We just have to get little Mushi (our pup) a stocking. I love this time of year! I'm from Hawaii, so I'm used to warm Christmas'. However, my husband got stationed in New Mexico, and it's in the 30's sometimes over here. It's exciting to be cold on Christmas!
Wow...Zapper z....How long does it take you to set all that up..?..That's awesome...Here's a video of my Monorail in action..This ones for 93Boomer..LOL...Sorry folks...File was too large...

Technically not a Christmas Decoration, but a Christmas tradition for me and hubby. We always go to the local pottery place and paint a piece for each other for Christmas every year. We went Saturday and this is mine. I can't wait to pick it up this weekend after it's fired. All the pink is actually red.
I'm so lame this year - I don't have a single thing up yet.
