mrhub...can't wait (or can I?) to hear why your BOG Magic Bands experience was Epic Fail!

Jeff C....one FP attraction per park (besides your super awesome LM bonus...ha!)?? That's so incredibly stingy, right? I guess we've all griped about that before, though, haven't we?

I'm excited for all you guys who are getting to try them out! Keep the reports comin'...this is good stuff!

No, you do get 3 per day for the one park. Sorry if I wrote that wrong. The system offers you 4 different time combinations for the 3 FP options you choose.

I'm not entirely sure, Kris. I just noticed it yesterday, so that makes me think around 30 days. But to be honest, I havent been paying attention that much over the past 2 weeks or so with the move and everything.

The system itself is pretty slick though. If we ever get our stuff from CA I can't wait to print everything off!

Moving is so frustrating...especially when you're trying to put the finishing touches on your big birthday trip! Hang in there! And thanks for the reply!

Oh BTW...guess we'll have to meet up in WDW sometime now that you left San Francisco! Of course I can think of worse places to meet.

Haha - the only positive for Joe is that I can't bug him about starting to pack because we don't have anything to pack!

Luckily, I marked in HUGE BLACK MARKER which box has all my pins and such so it will be easy to find! Joe rolled his eyes when I did that. Hmph......

I am booked for Pop Century 9/10-9/14 and the Magic Bands option was available. Although my family (grandparents) were from Scotland, I went with the green and not the orange! Sorry, Gran.... Haven't looked at the FastPass+ option yet.

I did online checkin 2 days ago for the Grand and today for the Poly. I hear Poly guests are getting the bands already from whats being said on the Tikiman sites. Wonder if we wont get the option because we booked room only?

We finally got the Fastpass+ option so we will do them tonight and see if the bands come up next.

The app, when I go into FAQ, it has a button that says "start using Magic Bands now", but I click on it and it just takes me to the page that shows all the active cards I have. Hmmm

My Disney Experience changed from an option to link magic bands to "personalize magic bands" today. Good thing I was paying attention!

I went with yellow as well. I'm hoping for some purple accessories. Purple and yellow are my colors for everything (JMU colors!!).

Scrappy & I just did ours, she went pink, I went orange! Woo hoo! Did all our Fastpass+'s too. Ken, you may get a band when you check-in, I think they are going live at pretty much all the resorts, so pick out colors ~~and what you want engraved on it,~~ You will get a basic band if you get it at the resort. We just did our names, Mark G & Judy G. You can only do nine characters.

We get them because we are staying at the Polynesian, so I don't know if we can use them to get in to the parks on Saturday when we check in to the Grand Floridian. I know they wont work at the Grand for the rooms yet.

I guess I'm just confused on how the magic bands will work if you have the Stars and Stripes military 4day park passes. Since you usually get these on a base and not online or right at the park.

Just a guess here, but you can go online and link your tickets to your account, which may link them to your magic band. I don't know, if I had the S&S tix, I'd just keep the card and use the bracelet for my room key and charging. I assume once you get an AP you link it to your magic band that way and just keep using the magic band on subsequent trips??
