This will not bother us. We always either buy the mugs or get them with our meal plan. We usually only use them for coffee in the morning and sometimes a decaf once we go back to the resort for the evening.
I'm of the I don't care mindset myself.
We only get them when we're on the dining plan. When we're not on the dining plan we try not to drink soda very often
I like it because Disney is finally enforcing the rules of the mugs. I think the prices can be better but I know it's Disney.
Move over and give me the mug!
Just give us the cup. I drink water most the time but its nice to get a diet coke from time to time. I do wish they were bigger though. A couple pieces of ice and you're not getting much to drink.
That's what annoys me about them, not big enough lol

I'm wondering if it will make refills slower since you have to wait for the screens to say you can fill them. Especially being new, you're bound to get people who don't understand how to use it.

You have to wait 2 minutes to refill the soda - so you can't say, get a drink and drink some off the top then fill the cup up the rest of the way and go. Which not that I think about it I do a lot.
I guess I fall into the "just give me my cup" category. I get a mug with the dining plan. I did buy one my first adult trip in 2010 since the regular dining plan didn't come with the mug at that time. It paid for itself.
I've quit drinking soda/pop so it doesn't matter to me. I don't think it would have bothered me when I did drink soda/pop. So I guess I'm in the don't care category. I do have a caveat to the don't care which is I don't care as long the ice & water can be used with any cup/mug. I tend to drink between a half gallon & a gallon of water each day starting in the morning & wont be happy if I have to ask for a cup (even if it's free) just for water when I have my own bottle.
