News from Disney Photo Pass.

Disney are finally adding a watermark to their online tool so guests will no longer be able to screen grab their pictures illegally.

As far as I'm concerned I think this is a good move, it's not fair to those who pay.

I heard they are watermarking it with a nice Disney World Logo in the corner.

I think it's a wise business move, even if I am sad that I can't take pictures of my ride pictures anymore. waiting

However, I do think the cost of the Memory Maker is a little steep as are the individual pictures. I can justify 99% of the cost of WDW but with only two of us the Memory Maker is a tough one to swallow. I think it makes more sense for a family. I'm debating it for this trip but really don't want to shell out $170.

Disney has caught up with what every neighborhood wedding photographer has been doing for 20 years. I'm proud of them. I'm sure whoever came up with the idea was rewarded handsomely.

We decided not to do it for this trip, but probably will for our trip in November since we have never been during the holidays. Definitely will when we do our big family trip in 2016, but that may be it. You are right , It really is pricey.

I did think it was kind of odd last year that my runDisney photos were watermarked, but my regular disney pass photos were not. As protective as Disney is about licensing, copyrights, etc., I can't believe that it took them this long to watermark the photo pass photos!
