Resort Parking when ADR's are booked.. When is too soon??

On Mardi Gras Day (Feb 9th), we have an advanced dinner reservation at the Poly for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at 8PM. We would like to park at the resort if at all possible, before visiting Magic Kingdom for a few hours before the dinner show. What is an acceptable time to arrive at the resort prior to an ADR? Do you think noon parking is too far removed in time from the 8PM reservation? I'm just trying to plan ahead. This is more for the G'parents then me, the DW and the kids. I know that after the show everyone will be ready to head back to the condo, and not back to the parks, so parking at the Poly would be a big plus for us all. Thanks for any and all help you might provide.

I don't think it would hurt to ask on the gate, and if they have a problem you could always valet park (anyone can valet)

I think they only let you park 30 minutes prior to a reservation at the Poly now because the parking is very limited there.
