Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert party changing name

http://blog.touringplans.com/2015/03/19/tomorrowland-terrace-dessert-party-will-change-to-wishes-dessert-party/

Looks like new dates are being released tomorrow under a new name, which is good news for me as I'm hoping to book for August. Bad news is that the prices are DOUBLING eek

Thanks for the heads-up! I was hoping to book Tomorrowland, but I think we'll do Illuminations instead since it's the same price AND we get booze. wink

Good plan. My new plan is to FP+ wishes and buy ice creams from The Plaza!

I third this plan! I heard the seating area in the rose garden is quite nice and I will eat my Mickey ice cream for a fraction of the price!

Yeah, I agree at $25 it was an affordable treat, but $50 no way. You could book cat 3 seating at HDDR for $9 more and get a full meal and dinner show. I'll be interested to see if it still gets fully booked.

I will be interested too... The illuminations one for the same price doesn't get fully booked...

I think it will. Even if it doesn't, I think it'll still be more popular than the illuminations one just because it's MK.
We went in October and loved it. Not worth $50 a person though Puzzled

I wasn't going to book it , but my DH said it was one his most favorite things that we did last year. I agree that fundamentally the price hike is ridiculous, but if it makes hubby happy then we will do it. He thinks it's worth it if we don't have to fight the crowd for Wishes. His first visit we encountered some very rude people during the show and this made the viewing from the party,in his opinion, worth every penny. Plus he loves dessert laugh

Honestly, I thought it was overpriced at $25, mainly because I'm not the biggest fan of desserts. Now, an appetizers and alcohol party for $50, that would be worthwhile.

Ooo, have you booked this new party then? Sounds like it will be worth the cost for your DH. Going from your countdown banner, looks like you're going in July? Would love to hear what you thought of it compared to your last experience.

I'm with crazycatperson. I'm not a big enough dessert person that I could even convince myself at the $25 mark. But apps and drinks I might be swayed for.
