I think they are, although many of us are trying to convince coreyp's wife to give Philharmagic a go.

Just spent the morning and early afternoon at DAK. We walked right up to the loading area of Everest. There was zero wait time at 10:15am.

We are now resting back at the Boardwalk before heading out to MK for MNSSHP.

Just got back from a wonderful dinner at Kouzzina. I'll post pictures later. I had the fisherman stew, which was well done.

We then were entertained by a hilarious magician in the lobby of the Boardwalk. We could have been rolling on the floor laughing. It was a fun way to end our evening.

Tomorrow, back to World Showplace for the last day of pin trading, before Sunday's vinylmation event.

Zz, you could start a new WDW internet abbreviation. "ROBwL" Rolling on Boardwalk Laughing, you can use it to annoy (or amaze) your non-disney savvey acquaintances.

Just got back from the first MNSSHP of the year. We closed the park at midnight. It was terrific, not too busy. Walk up onto dumbo. Peter pan, and pooh rides. We also did buzz and haunted mansion, all with zero wait.

I'm dead tired (get it?). Will try to sleep in tomorrow.

We were at beaches and cream a couple of days ago and I took a few photos of what the group had. This is the Mickey sundae.

And I had one of their regular sundae with strawberry and vanilla ice cream.

A few photos from last night's MNSSHP, the first one of the year.

MK was certainly decked out with the Hallowwen spirit.

Waiting for the start of HalloWishes.

And here is HalloWishes.

The Boo to You parade.

We then went on a few rides, including the new Dumbo.

We left MK at around 12:30 am. It was a loooooong day.

Just a bit.

We've been resting at our resort during the afternoon. We have a luau this evening at the Polynesian, so that should be fun.

Tomorrow, we plan on heading back to epcot since we've done only Soarin there since we got here. Besides, it is walking distance. Smile

Whoa, those undead princes and princesses...coming from someone who is completely over the current zombie fad, those are really cool!

Just got back from Spirit of Aloha luau at the Poly. I ate way too much.

Anyway, it was quite a fun time. They put on an entertaining show, and I think it was more enjoyable than Hoop Dee Doo. Certainly, the food was more interesting.

Will post pics later. Tomorrow, we go back to Epcot in the morning, mainly to get several pins that will be released.

Good morning! It is a lovely morning to start our day here at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Here are a few pics from the Spirit of Aloha luau last night.

Here is the hidden Mickey right at the entrance to the main lobby.

More from the lobby area of the Poly.

We took the scenic route to the luau cove. This is sunset at the poly.

Waiting to be seated.

The delicious salad to start off out feast.

The main dish - ribs, chicken, Hawaiian rice, and veggies. They were all terrific.

Dessert!

Of course there were entertainment during and after our meals.

I must say that it was as enjoyable, if not more, than Hoop Dee Doo. I think the food is better for this show, and certainly the theme and settings are more "exotic".

It was a terrific evening.

Thanks for getting up so early and taking those pictures for us, ZapperZ.

The food looks great, but what was the dessert? Please tell me it wasn't SPAM.

So, they serve chicken and ribs at both dinner shows? That's just bizarre to me.
It looks like a fantastic time! I love the whole Luau thing, even cheesy ones.

Now that I think about it, chicken and ribs are one of the easiest things to make in bulk. That's probably why they have them for both shows.

Are those little volcanoes of flan?

I am really enjoying your trip report. I do agree while we have been to both of those dinner shows (actually we have been to all three of them), we do prefer Spirit of Aloha over Hoop Dee Do for both the show and the food.

Those are called Kilauea volcano delight. It is a chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce, with a layer of chocolate cake. And no Bill, it was not spam! Smile

We just got back from dinner at Animal kingdom lodge. Spent a wonderful evening looking at the animals, roasting marshmallow at a camp fire, and spending an evening over a glass of wine and friends in the lobby of Jamboree house. We got to see the animals being fed. The ostriches and the giraffes were stalking the food truck! Will post pics later.

Tomorrow is the last full day of our trip. Can't believe the vacation is almost over.

It sounds like you're having a great time Zz. Keep up the pics, which keep making me more and more hungry (for food and a WDW vacation).

Another fine morning here at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Yesterday, we spent the morning and early afternoon at MK doing the Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom. I now have quite a collection of the spell cards, including the Chip n Dale card that was distributed during MNSSHP.

We went to DAK last night for dinner and to look around the resort. We ate at The Mara, which is one of our favorite resort quick service.

This is the African stew. It has chicken, beef, and ham.

There were a number of flat breads. This is one of them.

They also had a couple of special of the day, and one of them is the lamb stew.

What I had was the chicken pita. I ate every crumb on the plate.

We then walked around the resort and stumbled upon a camp fire. We get to toast out own marshmallow.

Of course, the attraction is the animals, and we got to see feeding time. Naturally, the animals know exactly what the feeding vehicle looks like. The giraffes especially just couldn't wait and started nibbling off the truck itself.

Count the number of animals in this one shot.

We had a lovely evening, and capped the day with a shot of the Boardwalk at night.

Check out the picture ZapperZ posed on the 13th of the tower structure at BW in daylight and the one of the same tower at night posted on the 14th (after animal feeding pics). With the exception of the time of day, they are almost identical.

There must be some creative thing that could be done with these two shots.

ZapperZ, was this your intention?

Nope. I'm not that creative. Smile
