Recent news out of Walt Disney World has it that certain resorts are giving free WiFi a trial.

At this time, it looks like the free WiFi service isn't available at all resorts. Here is a list of those that are giving the new free service a trial run:

• Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
• Disney's Beach Club Resort
• Disney's BoardWalk Resort
• Disney's Contemporary Resort
• Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
• Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
• Disney's Old Key West Resort

This latest honor joins a long list that has been bestowed upon Victoria & Albert's. The restaurant has received the AAA Five-Diamond award for the past twelve years - one of only three restaurants in Florida to nab the high rating.

There is news out of Walt Disney World tonight that the body of a deceased woman was found in a parking lot near the park this morning.

Though there isn't a whole lot of solid news to report at this time, we do know the woman was found in a parking lot that is used by Disney employees who play characters inside the park. She is reported to be fifty-six years old.

To date, no specific cause of death has been released. Authorities at the Orange County Sheriff Office have said homicide was not the cause of death and that an autopsy is planned to determine that cause.

I will go ahead and say this now, the Yacht Club and Beach Club are my favorite resorts at Disney. I love everything about them from the theming to the food and of course Stormalong Bay!

For the fall, Disney is offering discounts on rooms for most nights starting October 30 through December 23 with the exception of the week of Thanksgiving. Here are how the savings break down:

• 15 percent at All-Star Movies Resort and Port Orleans French Quarter Resort
• 20 percent at other value and moderate resorts, as well as Fort Wilderness Cabins

As the familiar song goes, what are you doing New Year's Eve? How about ringing in 2012 at Walt Disney World? Recently, Disney put out the scoop on what to expect at the parks during the last few hours of 2011.

The Magic Kingdom will celebrate by offering two fireworks shows on December 31, 2011: a holiday-themed "Wishes" show at 8:30 p.m. and a 11:15 p.m. showing of "Fantasy in the Sky." It looks like a countdown to the new year is also planned.

Epcot is holding two "Illuminations" for guests at 7:00 p.m. and 11:42 p.m. (yep, the time is that specific) to help ring in 2012.

Nestled in the halls between the Beach Club and the Yacht Club Resorts sits the inconspicuous little Crew's Cup Lounge. The fact that it's so easy to miss may make it one of Disney best hidden gems. Adjacent to the Yachtsman Steakhouse, the Crew's Cup can be busy at dinner time with snappily dressed diners waiting for their tables to be called, but during the rest of the day it's a special, quiet retreat.
