It's always the season to be shopping at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have a chocolate lover on your souvenir list, then be sure to head to The Ganachery Chocolate Shoppe in Disney Springs. Located in The Landing area of the massive shopping, dining, and entertainment complex The Ganachery will have sinfully delicious treats sure to tempt your tastebuds. Just grab hold of the adorable copper spoon door handles and walk on in.

The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will return to Walt Disney World Resort once again March 6 through June 3, 2019. This annual affair sees Epcot bursting with blossoms and blooms in vivid colors, elegant greenery displays, and a dedication to the freshest foods that welcome spring. Of course there's always plenty of music, and in 2019, the festival's Garden Rocks Concert Series will expand to seven days a week at the American Gardens Theater.

The winter holidays are a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. On of the reasons we love this season so much is all the gingerbread! Once again Disney chefs have decked the halls (roofs, doorways and windows, too) while creating life-sized, gingerbread houses and displays that are so deliciously beautiful you're sure to want to eat them!

Within the exotic lands of Disney's Animal Kingdom, guests will encounter the quaint Himalayan village of Serka Zong. This weather worn outpost offers a more foreboding feeling than other areas of Anandapur, the meaning of its name "Fortress of the Chasm." The pathways guests walk through this space are flanked by aging stone structures, intricately carved wall shrines, and prayer flags fluttering overhead.

On my most recent trip to Walt Disney World I had the experience of spending the night in a Deluxe Studio at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Guests staying at this Disney Deluxe Resort enjoy a taste of the South Pacific on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon. A fairly recent addition to one of Walt Disney World's original resort hotels, this classic on the monorail line has only grown in exotic charm over the years.

Do you ever wonder where to stash your gear while touring Disney Parks? While Disney has gone above and beyond to make a no-carry experience possible, sometimes you need to bring a bit of extra gear, or package delivery just isn't practical. Over the years I've turned to Disney lockers as a place to stash everything from sweaters or jackets for after dark, to baby gear, medical supplies, and even the occasional lunch.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort has been undergoing a massive renovation and expansion project. Disney Parks Blog tells us that the expansion was "inspired by the adventurous spirit of great Spanish explorers and historic innovative Spanish artists, writers and architects."

Bring on the bling! A first look at the medals for the 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend events have been released. With an interesting take on the medal art this year, each of the medals features a different Disney Princess giving it her all to race towards the finish line. The Half Marathon is a symphony in pink (not blue) with Princess Aurora , hair flowing in the wind as she runs.

Here a former merchant named Arjun has turned his opulent home into a haven for travelers. The exotic boutique hotel is filled with an eclectic mix of art and artifacts that Arjun has collected over the years from travels in Southeast Asia. At the center of this mythical hotel is the full-service Yak & Yeti Restaurant.
