Walt Disney World Resort is a year round vacation destination with fanciful activities just waiting for your whenever you choose to visit. That being said, Fall is without a doubt one of my favorite times of year for a Disney getaway. There are just so many wonderful reasons to visit in fall, I thought I would share a few and let you know why I love fall at Walt Disney World!

The 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing down at Walt Disney World Resort. Guests at the annual culinary event can expect a whirlwind tour of foods and beverages highlighting traditional flavors from around the globe. With so many good things to eat it can be easy to get carried away, and if you don't watch your costs you may end up with a big surprise when you get your final bill.

Disney After Hours Events have been a huge hit with guests looking to keep the fun coming at Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney just announced a brand new bunch winter dates! The sun may go down early, but that doesn't mean that you have to miss out on the fun when you buy a special event ticket to Disney After Hours.

You may have heard me say now and again that I'm not really a parade person, except when it comes to the 'Mickey's Boo To You' Halloween Parade. This is my favorite Disney Parade because it's packed with unique characters and performances that you just can't see anywhere else. I'm excited to share that #DisneyParksLIVE will be streaming the marching extravaganza Live Sunday, Sept. 9.

Walking beneath the Main Street Railroad Station at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, guests find that they have been transported back to a fantasy home town. Main Street U.S.A. is the first land visitors encounter at the Magic Kingdom, and its nostalgic details will have you yearning for a time that never was and yet always will be.

Disney & Major League Baseball are both as American as apple pie, so it's no wonder that the Atlanta Braves have been making their spring home at the ESPN Wide World of Sports (WWoS) for more than 20 years. In fact the very first event held at WWoS was a Braves Spring Training Game. Sadly, 2019 will be the final year for The Atlanta Braves to hold Spring Training at Walt Disney World. Now is the time to make your travel plans to enjoy both of these the great American institutions in the same fabulous vacation.
