Walt Disney World Resort Releases Schedule for December Merchandise Events

Get your holiday shopping lists ready! The Walt Disney World Resort has announced the special merchandise events for the month of December and the events include artist appearances and signings and a limited edition release of an Ink & Paint cel.

Artist Greg McCullough has several appearance planned throughout the month including December 1-4 at the Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, December 10-14 at the Animation Gallery at Disney's Hollywood Studios, December 17-21 at the Art of Disney in Epcot, and finally December 26-31 at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney.

Fan favorite artist Larry Dotson will be at the Puffin Roost in Epcot's Norway on December 5-6 showcasing his Frozen-inspired artwork. Larry will be at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney from December 8-13, and he'll be at the Main Street Cinema in the Magic Kingdom on December 19-23.

A group of Disney artists including Costa Alavezos, Brian Blackmore, and Tim McCloskey will be at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney on December 5 from 6-8 p.m. and December 6 from 4-6 p.m.

December 6 is the release date for the limited edition 650 hand painted Ink & Paint cel 'Silver Screen Journey' featuring Mickey Mouse. Ink & Paint artists will be at a special signing at the Animation Gallery in Disney's Hollywood Studios from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 2-5 p.m. The cel is available unframed, framed, and framed with postcard and pin.

Artist David E. Doss is scheduled to appear at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney from December 14 through December 23.

There are also several special events happening in Epcot including appearances by Precious Moments doll creator Linda Rick, Department 56 Artist Scott Enter, Master Glass Artist Reinhard Herzog, Geir Ness, Kit Heath, and more. For more information visit DisneyParksMerchandise.com.
