This resource group will help provide a military perspective at the resorts that will enhance experiences for guests and cast members.

Disney’s Theme Park Division Has Lost Several Top Executives in Recent Weeks

The Walt Disney Company Named Most Socially Responsible Company

The Walt Disney Company was recently named one of the most socially responsible companies - sharing the top spot with Microsoft, Google, and BMW.

The ranking comes out of a study conducted by a private consulting firm called Reputation Institute, where more than 55,000 consumers in 15 countries were asked to identify companies with the strongest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reputation.

The Walt Disney Company reported its second quarter earnings for the fiscal year 2013, and it was good news for the House of the Mouse. The company reported an overall profit of $1.5 billion, which is up 32 percent from the same period last year.

Disney Committed to Elimiate Use of Rainforest-Sourced Paper

The Walt Disney Company has recently enacted a new paper sourcing policy in which the company will no longer use paper connected to the destruciton of the rainforest.

Disney worked closely with the Rainforest Action Network (RAN) to create the policy and will ensure the new policy will be enforced for every facet of Disney direct operations, from its theme parks and resorts to its media networks and book publishing.
