Well I'm home from my first ever Dapper Day 
it was awesome! 
I won't be doing a trip report so I'll just add a few things here 
We ate some really good food in Walts on Main Street and Chez Remy in the new Ratatouille area. Both new places for me to eat and I'll definitely eat in them again! I loved the decor in them both too, Walts was old Victorian with each room themed to a different area in Disneyland. Remy was like we had been shrunk to rat size, the chairs were 2 bottle tops wires together and the lights were an overgrown set of fairy lights.
Speaking of remy, the new ratatouille ride was amazing! It's a trackless ride (like the technology of the Antarctica ride in seaworld) but with some 3D thrown in too. Very clever.
We stayed in a hotel 5 mins drive from dlp and it was gorgeous, especially as it was only 50pounds a night (roughly $85) it was a 4* with a spa. The location was perfect and it even had a free shuttle if you didn't want to use the car. I'd totally stay there again.
Dapper day was of course amazing! Most people there were French of course but they welcomed us English with great warmth and translated everything so we didn't feel left out. We met and made some great friends there. This was only the 2nd Dapper day DLP has had and there were about 80 of us, there's another planned in April which is tempting me... But it's only 10 days before wdw so not sure I can make it work!
