O'Malley took a turn for the worst last night. He couldn't stand and would only sleep. He then fitted early this morning so we were there at the vets this morning when they opened and they gently put him to sleep. He wasn't really there by this point anyway, his eyes were flicking side to side
We took him in last May when he was found and handed in to the vets. They couldn't find a home for him as he had many suspected problems but I knew we had to bring him home. As it happened a he only had a hyperactive thyroid, they thought he would also have liver, heart and kidney problems. He has had a very happy home with us for the last remaining months of his lifetime and he will be very much missed.
Here are a few pics of him.
This is what he looked like when we got him, before his thyroid was under control.
And this was him now
This was on my knee in the car to the vets a couple of days ago
Thank you so much to everyone for your kind thoughts and love for us all here. It's been a sad week in the princess house and a very sad day today. It's raining outside, a reflection on our moods
