JoAnn's October 2014 Solo Trip - Let the trip report begin

The plans are underway for my October 9 day / 8 night solo trip. I am doing a split stay - the first four nights at All Star Movies and the last four at POFQ. Plans will probably change as the F&W events are announced. I'd like to try another tasting event and am hoping to see some of the concerts.

Here's my schedule as it stands now.

October 17 - arrive AM (flight hasn't been booked yet)

I have a friend in the Orlando area that I want to try to get together with one night. I'm considering US / IOA on the 23rd. I really want to see the Harry Potter stuff.

Sounds like a fun trip! We'll be there almost the exact same dates (our stay is Oct 19-27). We're also hoping for MNSSHP on the 21st.
Hopefully we get good weather crossfingers

Love how you've got it out ( format wise ) like a diary...I'll try my October pre trip but I don't know how to format it like yourself..I'am a child of the 60's...Technology and myself are on different planets..

We have quite a few days that our plans overlap! We are doing MK on the 17th, AK on the 18th, Epcot on the 22nd... Say hello if you see us Laughing out loud and I'll keep my eye out for you too xxx

Wow looks great and I see you have some of my favorite restaurants on you list...like Boma, Boatwright and May Grill.. And I take my hat off to you and anyone else who can do a solo trip. As much as I love Disney I just couldn't do it...don't know why as I wish I could but just the thought freaks me out.

A couple of updates on my trip.

Flight has been booked. I arrive @ 10:20am on the 17th and leave at 7:45pm on the 25th.
MNNSHP ticket has been purchased for the 21st.
MtoMK tour has been booked for the 20th.
Dinner on the 21st has been changed to Grand Floridian Cafe so I'm closer to MK for the party. This is the only repeat restaurant of the trip.
I added an ADR for breakfast at Ohana on the 22nd.

Looks like so much fun! I'd love to do a solo trip sometime. Maybe not for that long- I like my alone time, but I am an extrovert at heart, I'd probably end up trying so hard to make friends with strangers, that I'd start freaking people out lol silly . A long weekend alone at Disney sounds so nice though! And F&W to boot! awesome awesome awesome

We'll have left just a couple weeks before you arrive, bummer.

I made my first set of FPP today. Since I'm doing a split stay I was only able to do them for the first half of the trip. I'll make the rest on Friday. I got what I am calling the "FPP tri-fecta" for MK - Peter Pan's Flight, Meet & Greet with Elsa & Anna and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
