If I were to hazard a guess - like all things with Disney, it comes down to safety (meaning potential lawsuit) or money. Come to think of it, it's the same thing, isn't it?

It can't be the skewers, because they still have beef and pork. It can't be chicken, because if you can't prep a chicken, you may as well get out of the restaurant business. They still serve chicken wings. Maybe they figured the wings and skewers were redundant. Odd to call it issues rather than a simple menu change.

Or maybe they did a study and with one less round of skewers thay can get the average table turned over 3 minutes faster and that will result in x number of more tables and another y million dollars in revenue.

I'm not surprised. I wonder if the possibility of undercooking has something to do with it. I know when we went in 2011 the steak was practically rare and the chicken wasn't right either (I believe it was actually overdone). I'm not really upset for me (not a fan of chicken) but it is an issue for my middle child who hates beef and pork. I have a feeling she'll be eating a lot if bread and noodles!
