I'm not a huge fan mainly cause it's noisy and bit over priced, however if I hadn't been before I would definitely go! Last time we sat by the kitchen and everyone someone orders a 'volcano' the server shouts it as they exit the kitchen and all of the other servers shout back.... That got old really quick haha. I can't remember what we had to eat last time but I did enjoy it

Well, according to DP, we are getting said volcano.
It looks good. I just don't want to be disappointed. But from the pictures it looks like a cool place!
Done it twice..Enjoyed the hubbub and the food..
Trex is better
Went to the one at AK and sat at the bar. The food was good and had great service. Would probably not be on my list of places to eat at often but I think you need to try it at least once. We did try breakfast at the AK location a few years back and it was horrible and had the worst service I have ever had at Disney. So I have to say I wasn't sure I wanted to try it again but lunch was good.
I like it there! We haven't been in a few years (went to T-Rex instead) but we'll go back eventually. The volcano is so good! It's massive but delicious
Last time we went I had the Rumble in the Jungle turkey wrap and DH has the Rasta pasta. We enjoyed both.
Well, I personally haven't dined at the ones in Disney. I've been to other Rainforest Cafes in different cities way back when and from what I remember, food wise, there isn't really anything special. It's your typical American casual dining restaurant with a rainforest theme basically. So in other words, if you are familiar with Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe as other examples of casual dining themed restaurants, expect similar quality of food.
"All my life I wonder how it feels to pass a day, not above them but part of them.
And out there living in the sun, give me one day out there, all I ask is one to hold forever. Out there where they all live unaware, what I'd give, what I'd dare, just to live one day out there."
It is good food with a fun atmosphere.
I've done the one in DD and at DAK, and these were at least back in the early 2000's. I will say for certain that I will never go back, for several reasons:
1. It is nothing special in terms of the food. In fact, the last time I was there at the one at DAK, the food was actually rather bland for what I paid for.
2. I tend to want to find a place that I can't easily find here. Where I live, there is a Rainforest Cafe at a shopping mall!
3. The place was LOUD! If I want to have that level of noise, I'd rather go to the Whispering Canyon or some place that has a Disney signature.
4. There are so many other places at WDW that I'd rather eat at, even at DD.
Zz.
No longer an active member.
We love the RC as a place to eat but usually go to the AK one.
We find the food and atmosphere fun and it is completely unlike anything back home (Bearing in mind my little slice of the world doesn't even have a Starbucks or McDonalds)
