Och Aye the Noo...My weigh in on Sunday ( digital scales ) had me where I was at new year...I hope to lose half a stone and that's me happy...Food wise is going ok..Done my first Teppanyaki meal for Mrs Fergus and myself..chicken medallions with soy sauce and rice vinegar and a selection of grilled veg..Got a nice pm from Andy2992 from the dark side asking why I no longer post on that site...Anyway Figgy..So your the energiser Bunny eh!...Hope you know it's rabbit season...LOL..

Good morning guys!! Glad to hear from you! Glad you are both well!!
It is rainy and foggy here today but not as cold today.
You both are doing great on your diets!! Keep up the great job!!
My DH and I have started back on the healthier foods again to get ready
for warm weather! Smile Eating more whole grains and fruits and vegetables.
Eating sushi out this weekend! Yummy!!

Well, I got back yesterday. It was a ton of fun. We went as adults...and acted like we were five. Only shadow on the trip was that I picked up an infection in my foot and I've got a sprained ankle (same foot). I had to go to urgent care while I was there. I discovered that if I am in enough pain, I will sit anywhere. Wet bench? I'll dry (Hate being wet at all). Nice wall? Looks good! Floor? Lovely! Bricks on side of garden? I'll fit! It's pretty bad when you are jealous of people in wheelchairs. Now that I'm home, I'm using my mom's air cast that she had from a bad sprain years ago. It's helping me get around. Except that the only shoe I can wear with it is flip flops, so now I will be going to school in flip flops when it is 40 something degrees outside. Supposed to get snow on Wednesday, so maybe there won't be class. Even if there is, I will still be in flip flops

Good morning all is well here and it looks like the boys will be in school all week YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been so bad up here that they will be in school for both MLK and president's day! mad mad mad I'm doing a juiceing cleanse today. JM's biggest loser and some yoga and I even got out and walked 4 miles so far! Saying prayers for starwars girl and mrdisman as she has foot problems and mrdis has been sick since Christmas. If either Mr Ferret or King Fergus need exercise motivation I'll be happy to design a workout program for them! xoxo Take care and stay warm!

Good Monday morning all!! Hope everyone is well and warm and had a great weekend!!
We did!!! Just errands and such but we did get a good 6 mile walk in yesterday. I have been
missing my outside walks!!
We decided to have a trip for our Christmas gift this year but couldn't decide where to go. Then
Disney put out that discount on rooms and a free ticket day. So guess what!! We are going to be
at WDW for St. Patrick's Day!!! We've never been then. We are staying at our beloved King Fergus's
favorite, PORS!! We are soo excited!!!
So the pre-Disney diet and workouts begin. Eating nonfat plain Greek yogurt with my own granola for
breakfast. Lunch will be half turkey sandwich with hummus, lettuce and tomato. Banana. Dinner is shrimp
noodle bowls with shiitake mushrooms and sugar snap peas.
Walking and weights today too.
Cleaning windows and blinds today on the agenda so very busy day!!
Sorry about your sprain, starwarsgirl!! Keep it elevated and wear flat shoes for awhile. When I did mine, I stayed
off it for two days and kept ice on it. It just bruised a little and was ok.
Boys, hope the weather is good across the pond!!

There you go Boomer...Hope you enjoy..Don't eat too many MCB...By the way...We have just been hit by 40% discounts for deluxe resorts and we are in serious excitement mode...It is cheaper for us to stay at AKL and WL than a moderate resort..We are looking for a trip in October this year...This will be a great way to say goodbye to WDW as it will be our farewell trip...

That is wonderful!! 40% is better than I did. We got only 25%. But that's better than nothing!
Ooh going in October? That is good news!! We can start getting excited together!! wink

Good morning and congrats Boomer! I did some Zumba this am, nothing like my 3 left feet dancing before the sun comes up. LOL Yoga to beat fatigue in a bit. It's yucky out so no walking other than errand running for me. I'm on day 2 of Dr. Oz's 3 day detox cleanse. I like the smoothies and the bath that you must take each night. It's good for both the mind and the body. Stay warm and safe.

Good afternoon everyone!!
I have been very busy trying to pack up kitchen dishes, glasses, pot and pans, etc. that we won't be using for awhile. We are going to try and start remodeling the kitchen this year! I am so excited because we have tried this for the past 5 years and something always gets in the way.
So, I have been getting my exercise today going up the stairs carrying boxes!!
Thanks, Figgy!! It was a spur of the moment decision to go there and not go to the beach. It is kind of cold at the beach in March.
Keep hanging in there, King Fergus, you need to get in shape for all those yummy things you will have in October!!

Hi Y'all things are still going great and May 2015 is looking better by the day yay
Still low carbing it but have finally broken out the slow cooker (only a year after buying it eek ).So plenty of hearty meals.Walking whenever the opertunity opens up with the weather.
Good luck for October King F , i just couldn't imagine going for less than a fortnight.
Good luck with the Kitchen Boomer .
Keep at the Zumba Figgy you will improve (to only 2 left feet wink )
And can one of you good ladies say Hola to Epcotisbest from me please.

MR Ferret I pulled out the slow cooker too. I made turkey sloppy joe's which were yummy! What do you make?

Hi guys! Mr Ferret I love my slow cooker it a life saver when things get too busy! I just finished Dr. Oz's 3 day cleanse. So I'm eating very light today. It took me 1/2 an hour to eat a small bowl of veggies. The tummy has to readjust to solid food. 5 indoor and 3 outdoor miles today. ps King Fergus you're never too old for Zumba!

Figgy...The only Zumba I'll be doing is Chicken Zumba with basmati rice...LOL...Sorry I'am in a happy place as when I got up this morning..( Friday ) I realised that I wasn't dreaming and we have booked WDW for October this year..12th till the 25th staying at WL..( 40% off ) So my planning is in FP mode and my diet is on big style...Here's my new ideas for food...More veg...Less takeaways...Saturday night is buffet night with a selection of salads..pickles..chutneys..tempura prawns..chicken BBQ..etc...Keep safe folks..and if you happen to be inside the magic bubble in October..Watch out for a mad dancing Scotsman in tartan shorts..Och aye the Noo..

Trying to eat healthy the next two months. And keeping up the moving!!

Morning everyone!

Well, the parents have left for the world, so I am on my own for the next week or so. My best friend is coming over tonight, so I won't be completely alone, and the cat is on top of me (she at least is happy that I'm not going anywhere!) Studying and cleaning before my friend gets here tonight is what's up for me. Tomorrow I'll be out for most of the day, Sunday I have no idea. Monday I'll probably be out most of the day again since it's my day off. The ankle is healing. I need to go get a better brace for it. The one I have is great but it's clunky and I need something that will let it move a bit more freely. I think it might be well enough that I can start exercising again! yay

Well, off to study!

We are also going to WDW in October, I daren't get on the scales last week as I don't really want to know what I weighed, but I have been extremely good on my diet for the last 9days and finally got on the scales, it's still depressing but I have at least 18lbs to lose, ideally a bit more to get back down to my summer 2012 weight (that would be 24lbs to lose) and fit into all my lovely holiday clothes (as I haven't budgeted to buy new ones).

Going to be slow as I am having an operation next week on my shoulder, so not going to be able to get much exercise for a while, but once I can use my arm again I will be out walking the dog 3-4miles every day. So here's hoping that by the end of July I have reached target weight so I don't need to raid the summer sales for new cheap holiday clothes.

Well Sunday was my official weigh in day..and I lost one and a quarter lb..Not a lot but at least int the right direction..Tonight is Teppanyaki night..Thin slices of chicken & steak with grilled veg...Keep dancing folks..

Good morning!! Welcome Disney Holic!! Good luck with the shoulder!! I just finished physical therapy on mine recently so I totally understand bad shoulders!! Hope it goes well.
The weather has turned colder this morning! No walking outside. Will be walking inside today and doing my Tone and Sweat with Richard Simmons.
Breakfast today is pumpkin waffles. Lunch is half turkey sandwich with hummus and veggies. Dinner is Thai red curry with lots of veggies.
Everyone stay warm and keep moving!
King, hope it has stopped raining so you can get out:)

Good morning! IT"S COLD here!!!!!!!!!!! -10 at the low point. You can only imagine what it took to get me out from under my electric blanket this morning and get moving. 5 indoor miles with boosters done and I'm going to bundle up and do a mile outside. Thermal undies, fleece leggings (best winter buy this year), heavy sweat pants, t-shirt, sweat shirt, flannel shirt, heavy coat, 2 pairs of gloves, earwarmer and hat and hood, i can't wait for the frozen nose hairs and a psych eval later. LOL I hear you burn lots of calories when your cold. I'm going to turn up the heat and do a nice easy practice this afternoon. Veggie soup for breakfast, salad for lunch and leftover veggie curry for dinner. Stay warm and safe and PLEASE don't follow me outside. xoxo

I'm currently training to run 5k with a great app called 'couch to 5k' I'm on week 3 and have lost 10lbs I have 32lbs to lose by October but I am feeling fitter hopefully by october I can run 10k and the park walking wont seem to bad

Now that May 2015 is booked (can you say STARWARS WEEKEND ) the battle is on big time.So far in the weigh ins this year i have won and drawn one each so its all going well so far (so long as the figure doesn't increase it is a good week.Normal weigh in day is Friday morning so we will see what the result is this week soon.
Welcome to all the new peeps joining and Phil i doubt i could run 10 minutes let alone 10k ...

mrferret when I started this i was the same but the app really helps cause its all baby steps at the moment the most I have to run at a time is 2.5mins at a time that goes up a minute each week and by week 8 you should be able to run 5k. then after my body is used to doing that I will start the 5k to 10k training which is another 4 weeks. in total by June I hope to be running 10k 3 times a week. that gives me 4 months before WDW, we are staying at old key west so I want to try running there too.
