It's that time of year when everyone is making a list and checking it twice. Currently I have a lot of lists, but my Disney Bucket List is a work in progress. I've been visiting the Walt Disney World Resort since I was a wee little one (way back in 1974) and I'll admit that there are many, many things I have yet to experience at Disney World. A few years ago, after a family vacation, I decided to start writing down things I wanted to do on future visits. I suppose one could say I'm starting my Disney Bucket List.

Four Magic Kingdom table service locations will join Be Our Guest and begin serving wine and beer next week. The restaurants are: Tony's Town Square, Cinderella's Royal Table, Skipper Canteen, and Liberty Tree Tavern.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is adding more Star Wars experiences for guests including an all-new seven-hour guided tour that is set to start in 2017. This new tour will give guests VIP access to all things Star Wars at the theme park.

Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano has been a table service staple at Disney's Hollywood Studio for decades. Tucked in the far back of the Muppets Courtyard, past 'PizzaRizzo' and 'It's A Wonderful Shop', the brightly colored awning and streamers of overhead flags welcome hungry guests to come inside and enjoy a meal. My son and I recently stopped in to try Mama Melrose's for lunch.

The Walt Disney World Resort is home to more than two dozen hotels including deluxe villas, deluxe hotels, moderate hotels, a campground, and value resorts. Earlier this year the Magic Kingdom debuted a new hard-ticket event, Disney After Hours, giving guests a chance to spend more time in the park after dark. And now, that event is back for seven nights in early 2017.
