runDisney Announces Race Schedule for 2015-16 Season at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland

The official runDisney schedule for the 2015-16 race season has been released and it includes nine popular races.

The season kicks off with the 2015 Expedition Everest Challenge at Walt Disney World Resort on May 1-2, 2015. Registration for this race opens December 16, 2014.

The second race weekend on the schedule is the 2015 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend presented by PANDORA Jewelry at the Disneyland Resort on May 7-10, 2015. This event is already sold out.

Two More Names Added to List of Celebrity Narrators for the 2014 Candlelight Processional

Two more celebrity narrators have been announced for the 2014 Candlelight Processional at Epcot.

Jonathon Groff, the voice of Kristoff in Disney's hit film Frozen, and Joe Morton from ABC's hit show Scandal have been added to the list of narrators.

In addition to Frozen, Groff is a Tony Award-nominated Broadway actor and has also been seen on Glee. Morton has also been seen on Broadway, television, and in film.

Every night, the fireworks explode above Cinderella Castle and the guests watching in awe might easily forget that they are actually standing on the second floor of the Magic Kingdom. Below their feet, a small city is hard at work making Disney Magic possible. The entrances to the utilidors are all around us as we travel through Magic Kingdom, but because we have no need to locate them, the doors blend seamlessly into the scenery.

Winter Holiday Season at the Walt Disney World Resort Includes Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and More

In a little less than a month the winter holiday season gets underway at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The very first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled for November 7 at the Magic Kingdom.

This special ticketed event happens on select nights through December 19 and guests will be able to enjoy Mickey's Once Upon a Time Christmas Parade, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa on Main Street, U.S.A., a holiday version of Celebrate the Magic, and Holiday Wishes nighttime fireworks.
