It might not seem like they're agreeing on much, but Disney and its largest labor union did agree to temporarily extend their current contract on December 9, 2010. This moves the contract's date of expiration from December 11 2010, to January 20, 2011.
Currently, nearly 21,000 of the more than 60,000 Florida parks workers are represented by the unions involved in negotiations with Disney. Those negoations, started in the summer of last year, remain at a standstill despite the intervention of a federal mediator. There is no news at present when those talks will resume
