It's time to start planning your fall visits to the Magic Kingdom. Disney has released the party dates for this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

On a recent stay at Disney's Yacht Club Resort we had a few open hours in the morning before heading to the airport, so we decided to check out the breakfast spread at Captain's Grille at the hotel. We had wanted to dine at Trattoria al Forno for breakfast but it was all booked, so Captain's Grille was our second choice.

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival continues to delight guests with colorful blossoms and enticing flavors. My friends and I had a fabulous time there during our trip eating and drinking our way through the Outdoor Kitchens and Gardens around World Showcase Lagoon.

The Magic Kingdom has instituted a brand new security process for guests going through metal detectors and getting their bags checked. The new procedure is meant to streamline the process and improve the arrival experience.

Update 10/18: While this location still offers a selection of Joffery's Tea, it is now more focused on coffee drinks.

Disney fans are known to be passionate about their coffee, and over the past several years Disney has really stepped up their java game by creating partnerships with both Starbucks and Joffey's. Both companies also has significant interests in the tea trade, and guests at Disney Springs are welcome to explore the world of the leaf at Joffery's Tea Treaders Cafe.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon has a brand new attraction, Miss Adventure Falls, but the new family-friendly water slide isn't the only improvement at the water park. Several other updates and changes were made during the park's refurbishment this winter.

Recently I had the chance to stay at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and it has been added to my list of must-stay-here-again deluxe resorts. The resort has a different vibe from its sister resort Beach Club, and is located just a short walk from the International Gateway entrance of Epcot.
