Sorry folks, been very busy at work. Yes, Compuvette is an old forum name and yes it has to do with Corvettes. My wife and I own a pair of vettes. A 1971 and a 1984.
I am a "hardcore" Disney fanatic. I think I love it more than my kids..... For a while we went every two years to The World (trips to other places during the "off" years). We took a couple years off as my wife got a little tired of it. Then last year I had a conference in Orlando and we turned that into a two week trip. We are returning this fall with a Thanksgiving week trip. I've also went once (about six years ago) to Disneyland. Stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for a week.
I've already gotten supper for my wife and I setup in Japan to watch the fireworks and eat sushi. Booked Marrakech for another night. Think we're going to avoid the parks on Thanksgiving day. We've been there the week after thanksgiving before and it was awesome. I'm a little worried about crowds during Thanksgiving, but our kids are still in school so it is what it is.
Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome.

I think a trip during Thanksgiving sounds fantastic!! Are you going to go to the other three parks while you're there, too? What about the Candlelight Processional at Epcot??

Welcome glad you've joined us. Any time in Disney is a gift. I think on the crowded days there is an extra energy that is lacking in the off season. I'm sure you have a great trip.
