Look what I did today....

It's been booked since June last year and tomorrow is hubby's birthday party, the day I reveal that we're going on a disney cruise! Also will be revealing some of the other things I have planned for us, saving a couple until we're there.

Don't know how I've kept my big mouth shut for so long! Will post about how it goes, hopefully later on I'll be able to upload the DVD I've made to show him the plans - just needs 1 final thing adding to it to finish it off Smile showed my mum the other day and she cried lol think she is as excited as I am to show him Smile

And here is what I did today....

Bit annoyed there is a crack on the right on the top cake, it was supposed to go at the back but i forgot to line it up and then it was too late!

Not back considering I have only ever once before iced a cake - and that was my wedding cake :omg:

He better appreciate all this hard work I tell ya!!

Oh my goodness. Your video is amazing. Your idea is amazing..it's all amazing! I'm sure you will have an amazing time. You guys will make so many more memories! I couldn't think of a much better trip than that one!

The castle bit I can't take any credit for I'm afraid, I'm on another forum (a uk based one) and one of the guys on there offered to make it for me! I wouldn't have a clue how to do it!

Had the party last night, everything went well and everyone said what a wonderful time they had, despite the rain!

Played him the video at about 6pm with everyone else watching it with us which made it even better, they were all laughing at the embarrassing photos.

I didnt manage to get someone to film his reaction as he was already a bit suspicious so I didn't want to make it worse...

He was a little worse for wear (we hadn't eaten yet) and he was very emotional, he didn't cry but he did well up and was very choked. He's been talking about nothing since and he's watched the film again today with more family - the party went on into today as well! We have in fact only just got home.

So now the secrets out I can *finally* talk about the holiday! Woohoo!

Just a few more weeks until we are there
