Hi! It's me and I'm back... OK, I never left but I got in a real funk over the winter months as far as "working out for Disney" goes.

The hubby and I are on day 8 of the Advocare 24 day challenge. It's going pretty good. I lost 3 pounds while we were in DC (TONS OF WALKING) and I'm down another 3 so far.

Got a fitbit last night and I am already obsessed with checking my steps... About to hit the treadmill, the weather here is BEAUTIFUL but the pollen is as think as the northern snows! It kills me just walking from the house to the car so inside running a few more weeks it is...

Hope you are all doing well!!!

Hey JMed! Glad to hear you are doing well in SC.
I have been doing my Spring painting all week so I don't find time to check in much. Trying to get it done before our trip! We have been able to get our walks outside all this week! Loving this warm weather!

Same here! So far things are getting better but not slowing down yet. Oh well at least they are better. So far 5 indoor miles and 5 outside. It's over 40 so for the way too short warm up I got out!!!!! Will winter ever ever end? waiting waiting waiting yuck yuck yuck mad mad mad mad Seeing it's warm????? LOL 40 yuck I'm going with raw smoothies today! Lots of mixed greens and veggies muchlove clapping muchlove Stay warm and safe and just keep swimming! xoxo Figgy

the last couple of days, the allergies have really hit hard. Rain mixed with a couple really warm days brought out even more pollen. sad Pushing on inside!

Good morning and happy weekend!!!!!! Are you sitting down? Are you sure? No!! Really!!!!!! I'm telling you!!!!!! Please sit! I'm taking a day off from working out!!!!!!! I averaged over 10 miles a day for the past week, so my body needs a day off. Take care of yourself! Remember to try and find the balance that works for you! Now I'm not going to be on my bum all day, power shopping. yay yay yay yay Going out to get shorts for summer ( snow banks and summer clothes shopping just don't go together) Then it's off food shopping, have to feed an army here. Oh that's right I only have 2 boys, my dh and myself to feed. 2 growing boys, I had it right the first time, large army, LOL This weekend just enjoy life xoxo

Happy meatless Monday! LOL as every day for me is meatless! Shorts shopping was fun. yay Today was 5 advanced miles with Leslie Sansone and I got out and did a mile, but due to the fresh coating of white bleep that may be all I get out and do! mad This week We'll all be eating lots of kale because the store was practically giving it away due to ordering pallets instead of cases clapping clapping clapping clapping clapping Stay warm and safe! xoxo

Good morning all! Had a great Easter weekend with our DD and her DH! Beautiful weather!
Saw cute lemurs at the zoo and some cuddly-looking lions playing with their Mom and Daddy lions.
Got in 9 miles at the zoo!
Busy week doing spring cleaning.

Happy meatless Monday! Then again every day for me........! LOL 5 advanced miles (Leslie Sansone) and it's above freezing going up to 60 today! Yea!!! Maybe winter will end up here! waiting waiting waiting I already went around my lake once and my goal for today is 12 miles total. Fingers crossed it will be warm enough to get around twice more. Just keep thinking warm thoughts. xoxo

Good morning! Yesterday was beautiful! Total miles walked yesterday, 15 clapping clapping I know it was a bit, but it was so nice out I didn't want to come inside. Besides the weather channel says 4 straight days of rain now! mad sad yuck yuck Today was kickboxing and yoga for lower body. And best of all I got a break between the rain so I went around my lake! clapping That might be the last time for quite a few days sad sad sad Todays food chocolate & banana milk shake for breakfast ( baby greens mix, cocoa powder, stevia and banana) lunch salad of some type and for dinner veggie chili with homemade gluten free corn bread and guacamole with tomatoes. Have fun and just keep swimming! xoxoxo

I wish I could get more than 5 miles a day in LOL.... I would have to come home from work and walk till midnight. Been doing good the last few days, water water water and healthy eating. I did walk the golf course when Joe played Saturday! Only 10 more days until Disney! I need to drop a couple more pounds! Work work work!

Good morning! Buddy does time fly when you are busy!! lol I can't believe it is already mid-April!! Where is time going?? The only good thing right now is that we are getting closer to our WDW vacation!!! yay yay I can't stand it. We got email that mbands are being shipped today. Now, we are counting down the days!! Cannot wait until tomorrow when my DD and her DH get there and start sending me pix!! I need my mickey fix!!lol
I have been outside every chance I can cleaning up debris and making things look gorgeous again. So glad that that nasty winter weather has mostly disappeared. We can get cool snaps still in April and May, but it won't be like this winter!!
I have still been doing my 4 miles every day no matter what and weights and exercise ball every other day. I feel really good about this vacation. I am actually where I want to be weight-wise and have energy to get through each day. So just maintenance hopefully from now on. Started cutting down on sugar and soft drinks and increasing more water into my day.
Hope everyone has a good week and keep on moving.

So sorry I haven't checked in lately! It's been nice out! Yesterday was a surprise so I got up and did No more trouble zone (Jillian Michaels) and it was sooooo nice I walked about 9 miles! Today wasn't as nice but I still got in 7 1/2 miles. Winter was so bad that once it hit 50 in the am I didn't want to go inside! Tomorrow will be much cooler, so I'll see then waiting xoxo I may not be going this year but I still need to keep up with my boys all summer!

It's raining, it's pouring so inside walking for me today! mad sad yuck yuck At least I got some pansies and oregano into my garden and the lamb's ear out! Don't ever put that stuff into your garden unless you have a way to keep it contained! Invasive is way too nice a word to describe it! Lots of digging and pulling! Here's hoping your weather is nicer than mine today!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay safe and keep moving forward!

Good morning!! After a brief thunderstorm, we finally have some sunshine this morning! Got a ton of rain this wknd as did lots of the south!Sad
Had to do walking inside but still got it in.
Oh Figgy! I have that lambs ears too. My Mom gave me some and didn't say how aggressive it is! I have pulled all of it up when it makes an appearance in my garden! I am not happy with that plant!! I feel your pain! yuck

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It all started with a "Charlie Brown" plant from the garden center on clearance! I felt sorry for it! Now I know why it was only a dollar LOL

Hi, and happy meatless Monday! waiting waiting waiting Just got a wonderful dvd the Ultimate 5 day walk plan, Leslie Sansone. It has a warm up, 5 different 12 minute miles and a very short session for different body parts and of course a cool down. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr Ferret and Boomer I hope you are in Disney shape.

Ach...Aw this dieting is bad for yer health.. yuck ...Here's my tips..Don't eat late at night then go to bed...Drink plenty of fresh water...( cleans the soul ) Do plenty of walking ( jogging just bounces your insides ) Eat at least one piece a fruit per day..( not in a glass of alcohol ) Always do plenty of stretching when you get out of bed first thing in the morning...Plan out your weeks dinners.( I write mine from Monday to Sunday and pin it up in the kitchen ) Include a variety of things so you won't get bored..( example, rice..veg..potatoes...fish..meat..( if your allowed ) ...In the past ten years, my weight has hardly moved..I put on a few pounds..I loose a few pounds... mickey

I don't diet I just eat healthy. No counting calories, carbs or fat. I like to "work out" for me it's fun. Yes lots of stretching today!!!!!!!! It's yoga day for me, Yoga Shakti (Shiva Rea), like I said fun. The one thing I really like about losing weight is my clothes are now cheaper. Smaller department = smaller price tag!!!!! Not to mention how healthy I am. My doc says if all his patients were as healthy as me he'd be broke! All that being said I like your attitude, but I'll take just a little fruit in my drink, or make that a drink in my fruit, can you say Lapu Lapu LOL

Yay..See Figgy...Your on the right road....Last time I was at the dentist was in the 60's...And my last haircut was in the 80's..Therefore my dentist and hair stylist won't be going on a Disney vacation with my money..lol...My Bass player does yoga and is into Reki but doesn't eat healthy hence he looks like Tweedle Dee..Glad he's not on this site or I'd need a new partner..lol...
