If you're a Disney Vacation Account customer you might want to check your bank statement. A recent "technical glitch" during a system upgrade caused some customers to have extra funds transferred from their bank accounts into their Disney Vacation Account.

Touring Disney's Animal Kingdom is a different experience than touring any of the other theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. Recently Disney Interactive and SQUARE ENIX announced that Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is coming to mobile devices in the United States. This is the first game in the Kingdom Hearts series to come to iOS and Android devices and will be a free-to-play app here.

Starbucks has finally opened its doors at Disney's Animal Kingdom, giving the coffee giant a presence now in all four of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and at Disney Springs. Now guests will be able to get their fix of premium coffee, lattes, and those scrumptious Frappuccinos no matter where they are during their Disney vacation.

Earlier this year the Walt Disney World Resort announced plans to close the Walt Disney World Speedway, known affectionately as the Mickyard. The Speedway is home to the Richard Petty Driving Experience and was the home of the Exotic Driving Experience, which closed this spring after a fatal accident.

Recently we reported on the layoffs of nearly 250 Walt Disney World Resort cast members who were not only being replaced by foreign workers on temporary H-1B visas, but also had to train these replacement workers. We are now seeing reports that Disney has rehired nearly 120 of these employees and changed their mind about other layoffs in the television division.
