New Music, Food at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon

Disney's water parks are a great way to beat the Florida summer heat, and this summer Disney's Typhoon Lagoon has added some new beats and eats to its fun.

First off, guests can catch the Calypso band Tropicals (pictured to the right) at the park from 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through July 15. Look for the band near the Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster pool area.

She'll be able to choose from a trip to Disneyland or Walt Disney World, or a Disney cruise. It's also been reported Southwest airlines will fly the grandmother and her traveling companions for free.

Is the Orlando Exotic Driving Experience Worth the Money?

Many people on this planet are cursed with a disease commonly called "Morning Person." I am fortunately not afflicted with this disease, so it takes a great deal to convince me to get up early.

Before heading out to the Orlando Exotic Driving Experience on this morning, I pondered the same question many people are going to face: Is it worth it?

New Fantasyland Splash Pad Now Open

Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom now have a new way of beating the heat. The Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station opened last Friday in the Storybook Circus part of Fantasyland.

Casey Jr., the steam engine featured in "Dumbo" that pulled the circus into town, and its four boxcars full of animals (monkeys, camels, elephants and giraffes) begin a "journey" every ten minutes or so. Though the train doesn't move, guests can hear locomotive sounds and see a mist coming from the train.

New Character Meet and Greet in Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World has designated a new space for meeting characters within the Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland. Guests can now catch up with their favorite personalities from the Hundred Acre Wood next to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Pooh and his friends used to greet guests near the Splash Mountain exit, but now make their greeting home near Pooh's attraction. In addition, Woody and Jessie of "Toy Story" fame will now be meeting up with guests at the Splash Mountain exit location (they were previously at the upper Splash Mountain gate).

Guests will also take in a myriad of orange cones - they are reported to be found in the carpeting, light fixtures and as the inspiration of the cabanas near the Cozy Cone pool.

It's Time to Get Brave! A Review of the Newest Film from Pixar

A few months ago I had the unique opportunity of visiting Pixar Studios to get a sneak peek of their latest movie Brave, which is their 13th animated feature. The movie was not yet completed but we were able to watch the first 30 minutes. From the very start of the film, I was gripped and when the lights came on I was so disappointed!
