It's only a three-night cruise so I thought I would stick with the dining rotation. I also didn't book anything for Nassau day. I've been there before and I thought I would use the time on the ship. I really want to explore the ship and experience as much as possible on board.

Yeah, the kids will drop their bags off and head off to see Diagon Alley. My DD is a huge HP fan. Then they'll be with us for the balance of the trip. I'm skipping Uni- I can't be bothered leaving the Disney bubble.

We did a 3 nighter so we skipped the royal palace (is that what it's called) and went to palo, but went there for lunch one day instead. Palo is still the best meal I have ever eaten, it makes me want to do a cruise again purely for that meal!

Sadly, no WDW for us this trip. We have to get home. I think you'll love the cruise. On the 4 nighter, you eat at one of the dining rooms twice on the 3rd & 4th night. We booked Palo on the 3rd night because we weren't crazy about the Pirate Night menu in the dining rooms. All three dining rooms have the same menu on Pirate Night. This time we're going to do Remy on that 3rd night! Palo was great, so great, we almost did it again on this cruise, but I wanted to give Remy a try.

Sounds like amazing plans! So glad your DD and DSIL can join you! I would love to be FIRST ON THE SHIP!!!

We are doing the 4 night so I think Palo will be on our list for the last night. I refuse to get off in Nassau... I hate being herded like cattle thru the shops then the gauntlet of Bahamians just to get on the island... Joe wants to do the Atlantis excursion. If I can do that without all the hassle I might. Anyone know about that??? I would rather explore the ship myself

Nassau is getting a bad crime rate lately... there is a website www.cruiselawnews.com that has info on the crime stats...I just had a friends mother come back from there and she was pretty shook up about the subjects approaching her in the tourist areas...she did go to Atlantis, and had no problems there..but walking around town is something she said she wouldn't do again...staying on the ship-may not be a bad option. sad

Ok I got Palo. They told me that the Animators Palette is the only dining room that doesn't do lunch.

Thanks for the advice.

Don't know if you have been to Jellyrolls before but we went and had a blast. A couple of tips..get there early for a good table and if anyone gets cold easily ....take a light jacket. We are thinking about a Disney cruise and it sounds like you guys are going to have a blast! Looking forward to reading about how it went mickey

I try to go to Jelly Rolls at least once every trip. It is a blast. I hope to dovetail that with the new things they've been doing at Atlantic Dancehall.

Looks like we overlap on 9/25 at EPCOT. We've got an ADR at Whispering Canyon right after our flight gets in and then we'll be at EPCOT for the rest of the day. Maybe we can meet up sometime during food & wine if that works for you. We've got a Maelstrom FP for 5:25, but after that, we're unscheduled!
