So after weigh in my weight hasn't change, but I am starting to look more in shape, I assume I have lost some fat and built some muscle over the last week. Others doing the same diet and work out plan as me have said that, they lost weight all of a sudden after three weeks, so I'm not over stressed. The good news is my clothes are fitting better and that is the aim of all this, I would rather lose inches than pounds,

We did a lot of walking this weekend around 8 miles total and circuit training on Sunday. This morning I have trained and will walk 3 miles after work. I have amped up the diet, I am now cutting carbs, eating nothing but fruit and veg and eating tuna every day for lunch for the next seven weeks, I hate diets and it's hard work but I know when I stuffing my face at ohanas it will be worth it

Well my Sunday weigh in had me loose 4 lbs, was this due to my diet..No...It was due to the fact I had this 48 hour flu bug and I never ate or had a beer.. yuck ...So I'am just over 3 lb off my target...That'll do for me..Because in 55 days time, I'll be walking an average of 6 mile a day for 13 days...Keep safe and keep dancing folks.. clapping

Good morning all!! Sounds like everyone had a good weekend.
I went shorts shopping for our upcoming trip. I couldn't find any that fit me!Sad The waists were too big which is good that I am losing weight but not when I want new shorts! I gave up!
Gotta start the packing list this week. My goal is to be packed a week before then I won't forget anything. I wash clothes after a week so only have to pack for one week instead of two.
Walking may be inside just to dodge rain showers. Weights too.
Keep healthy and moving today! Have a good one!

Been doing good this last week. Took a little slip on Sunday. Caved to chocolate ice cream and no workout. I was having a pity party for one after a couple of rough days... But other than that I've been eating better and working out every night. Weigh in in tomorrow... crossfingers

Stay strong Jmed and good luck, we are all in this together.

I have been doing well since my last post I have lost 4 lbs since sunday, I think its good to do with the time I weigh myself and on sunday I was full of water as i drink a litre as soon as I wake up and had eaten, this morning though 4 lbs is gone lets hope it continues to go down.

Yesterday was an average day I walk my 3 miles, ate fruit for breakfast and steak salad for lunch although dinner was pix and mix (candy) in the cinema. Me and my disney tour group went to see Guardians of the galaxy, well what can I say what an amazing film. Chris Pratt aka peter quill aka star lord, is now my biggest thin-spiration. he looks so good in it, me and my DF are huge parks and rec fans and Andy is our favourite character and oh my god how Chris Pratt transformed himself for the role of star lord.

So now for my work outs I'm going to my playing the Awesome mix vol 1 from the movie for that extra motivation. In fact I listened to it this morning during my circuit training.

good luck all

JMed. A little slip is not something to get too upset about. After all, we all do it sometimes. Just keep eating the healthy stuff more than the sweets and you will be fine. wink

OMG could you believe Chris Pratt looked like that!! I watched Everwood religiously so I have seen him before. That is not what I expected when we saw Guardians of the Galaxy!!! Wow! Now if I could get my DH to look like that silly

He looks amazing, he slims down for a lot of roles but he just looked so fit and healthy. The last movie we saw him in was delivery man where he had gained weight for the role for my mind was blown and all in just 6 months! eek

we I started with 2 months to go, cause my will power isn't strong enough to do 6 months of intensive training, this morning I ran just over a mile probably running for 13-15 mins. The thing with interval training is you don't want to do too much, the idea is to shock your body, so instead of running 5k like I was at the start of the year the key is to run at full pace for a bust, stop and then start again you repeat this until you can't go on. As my circuit training is strength and tone based interval cardio is a great sliming tip for anyone because 1. its easy to get started 2. you will is fast results and 3. you go to YOUR limit. I would really recommend it to any of you plus as its record based its almost fun.

this afternoon I will do my 3 mile walk which is becoming daily for my fiance and I, she is also reaping the benefits.

Diet is going strong I even managed to dodge my way through a Chinese takeaway with family last night, chicken chopsewy and steamed monk veg.

I am a little worried that due to cutting caffeine, booze and sugar when I get to WDW I will be a buzzing mess for 2 weeks.

Going to go shopping! Need new clothes! Only 9 days until our trip to Utah and lots of hiking! Been increasing some of my weights to carry that backpack.
Got my 4 miles in last night. Plus, walking over 10,000 steps every day is slimming me down. This is the best I have felt in years. Moving really helps maintain!
Dinner is lean pork chops with maple apples and wilted spinach.
Glad you said small portion of fried chicken, watchmaker. laugh
Have an awesome day all!! Keep moving!

I know I know but I am trying so hard! I am down 5 lbs so I'm feeling better about it! Where are you going in Utah? Ever since I went to the Grand Canyon, I've wanted to go back out west to hike. It's so beautiful. If you can, share a pic or 2 with us!

Now, if I could just get off this couch to do my run tonight... waiting It was a long 12 hour day at work that started with an unhappy Blondie this morning...

Wow 5 lbs!! yay that is great!!! See you are doing good! I fluctuate between 1-2 lbs every weekend depending if we go out and eat. Drives me nuts!
Oh I love the Grand Canyon! We've been before several times and keep stopping by. Have you been to the north rim? It is just amazing and so quiet! More people visit the south rim and don't get up there. You need to go.
We stay in Springdale in Zion Natl Park. Found the Desert Pearl Inn a few years ago. It is a gem. And you park your car and take the shuttle to the park even with your hiking gear! We just love it!
I will put up a few pics when we get back. Smile
Keep up the good work JMed!!Smile

Thanks! I've been working really hard. Debating on my cheat day right now. Sunday as planned or an entire bottle of wine tonight. It's been a long hectic week!

We didn't get to the south rim, I would love to though We were just on a day trip driving up from Phoenix. But it was amazing. We took the long way home and stopped at a little road side stand that was right on the edge, it was quiet and peaceful there too, the pic I attached is of me, my bro and sis in law sitting on the edge there. (PS my mom wouldn't get close to the edge... right below us was a pretty wide edge, when we were getting up my bro acted like he fell I thought my mom was going to have a heart attack lol poor mom...)

Sounds like everyone is doing great! Keep up the good work!!!

A good tip for cheat days is to cheat every 8th day. And on the 8th day really cheat.

Dinner was smoked chicken and a salad. Heading to Myrtle Beach today for the hubby's golf tournament he is playing in and I am going to spend the day shopping. Dinner at a local favorite tonight! Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone,

While I am always trying to lose some weight I have decided in preparation for my 1st trip to wdw that I NEED to get fit. I have joined a gym and attend at least 1or 2 classes and 1 or 2 gym sessions a week. Apart from 1 week where I was working away a lot I have managed my 3 total sessions a week since July.

Not sure if I am actually getting fitter, but I'm trying wink

I know I can handle 8-10 miles walking per day, but it's the different climate that worries me.

Hope your targets are being achieved this week.....

Hey everyone!! Been a long, hot day!! We have been outside trimming bushes and burning the twigs! We sweated a few pounds off so I treated my DH to an iced decaf. Smile
Need to start packing tomorrow so I can see what I need to launder. Seven more days and we'll be on the road! clapping
Dinner tonight is quick and easy! Soba noodles with chicken and carrots.
Everyone is doing great! Keep it up!! Glad you got back on the wagon MrFerret! wink
Why is my badge not counting down!? We are at 98 days today! Ugh!

So this weekend has been pretty good for working out, Saturday we walked 3 miles and I ran for a mile first thing in the morning. On Sunday I had interval training and we spent the day walking around at an event. This morning. I have finished my curcit training. No walking through due to the rain. I weigh in on Sundays and Wednesdays. Yesterday I had lost 1lb Smile

My start weight was 13'2" yesterday I was down to 12'10" so I've Magee 6lbs in two weeks. We have just under 7 weeks and my goal is to be 11'12". Fingers crossed
