A wrongful death lawsuit filed by a deceased monorail pilot's mother has been dismissed. Twenty-one-year-old Austin Wuennenberg died July 5, 2009, as the result of two monorails colliding at Disney's Ticket and Trasnportation Center.
Wuennenberg's mother filed the lawsuit against Disney last year, and accused her son's supervisior creating an unsafe situation by leaving his post. Both the family's and Disney's attorneys have said the lawsuit has been settled, but no specific details about the settlment are available.
