In addition to the big announcement about a total Star Wars Expansion at Disney's Hollywood Studios, there was some more exciting galactic news about what will be coming up in the next year to further incorporate the Star Wars Universe into the bi-coastal Disney Parks. Walt Disney World will get a number of these Star War enhancements for guests to enjoy while waiting for the new land to open.

As if there wasn't already enough exciting news about the Disney's Hollywood Studios Star Wars Expansion yesterday - Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek also created even more fabulous Disney Parks buzz with news with the announcement of Toy Story Land! Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort will be the location of this new land, inspired by the "Toy Story" film franchise.

No longer just a rumor, we're thrilled to share that Bob Iger announced at D23 that Star Wars Land will be coming to both the Disneyland Resort in California, and Walt Disney World in Florida!

Guests at Disney's Contemporary Resort got a real treat last week when they had a chance to watch the Beachbot "entertainment" robot create a giant sand portrait of Walt Disney. The Beachbot was created by Disney Research Zurich and a group of undergraduate students from a Swiss engineering school.

In addition to the fantastic culinary treats offered up every year at Walt Disney World's Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, each night the America Gardens Theater plays host to the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
