The Walt Disney Company and Jerry Bruckheimer Part Ways After More Than 20 Years and 27 Films

Just one week after the news that the fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise was on hold, the Walt Disney Company announced that it was severing ties with producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

The news comes a few months after the less-than-stellar theatrical release of The Lone Ranger, which Bruckheimer produced. The poor box office returns from the film will cost Disney nearly $190 million according to most reports.

Epcot's China Pavilion Puts the Temple of Heaven Center Stage

Epcot's World Showcase is home so some beautiful feats of landscaping and architecture. No more so is this apparent than in the tranquil and serene China Pavilion with its exteriors painted in bright colors set against white stone lined walkways and lush green gardens. Soothing traditional music plays throughout the pavilion and the reflecting pond outside beckons guests closer to the temple, where they can enjoy the Circle-Vision 360 film "Reflections of China."

Food Booths Returning to Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival in 2014

Next year's Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will be a feast for the eyes and the stomach as the food booths are making a return for 2014.

This year's 20th anniversary of the Flower and Garden Festival featured food and beverage marketplace booths similar to what guests find at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival each fall.

And now there is official word that 12 food marketplace booths will return for the 21st annual Flower and Garden Festival.

An Old Fantasyland Classic - La Fontaine de Cendrillon

Tucked away back behind the castle, just around the corner from Castle Couture in Fantastyland is a charming little detail that is one of my Disney favorites known as La Fontaine de Cendrillon - or - Cinderella's Fountain. It's a delightful water feature that's both art and functional drinking fountain for guests.

Spend Some Quality Time Exploring the Wonders and Beauty of the Morocco Pavilion

One of the most beautiful and intriguing pavilions in World Showcase is Morocco. But without a "major" attraction, it often suffers from lack of attention as guests rush past as they hurry to France or Japan on either side.

Morocco opened in 1984 and was the first "expansion" pavilion added to World Showcase after the park opened two years earlier. Three Moroccan cities are meant to be represented in the pavilion - Fez, Casablanca, and Marrakesh.

New Food Choices Make It Easy to Eat Healthy While at the Walt Disney World Resort

Eating at the Disney Parks doesn't always have to mean turkey legs, burgers, pizza, or chicken nuggets. There are now healthy food choices available at each park in the Walt Disney World Resort.

Last week Prince Eric's Village Market opened in New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, and guests will find Odwalla lemonade served with a fruit garnish, bottled water, juices, and teas, and snacks including fresh fruit, hummus, and Greek yogurt.
