Removal of Sorcerer’s Hat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Starts this Week

The Sorcerer's Hat at Disney's Hollywood Studios is coming down this week. According to reports, the dismantling of the iconic hat is set to begin on January 7. There is no word on how long the dismantling will take.

Disney recently released the artist rendering for the new Disney Vacation Club Bungalows at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The 20 bungalows are the first of their kind on Disney property and each bungalow sleeps up to eight guests.

Meg Crofton Announces Plan to Retire on June 1, 2015

Meg Crofton, the president of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts' operations in the United States and France, is planning to retire on June 1, 2015. The announcement was made via an internal memo.

Crofton has been at the helm of the US and France parks' operations since 2011 and prior to that role she was the president of the Walt Disney World Resort from 2006 until 2011.

Woman Dies After Crash with Walt Disney World Resort Bus

A 29-year old woman from Windermere, Florida died after a three-car crash involving a Walt Disney World Resort bus. The crash occurred in the early morning hours on December 15 in front of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
