A Walt Disney World cast member has been named the 2014 Disney VoluntEAR of the Year.

Kristen Lehrer, a resource manager at Disney's Animal Kingdom, was chosen by her fellow Disney cast members. She received a surprise celebration, a trophy, a handshake from Mickey Mouse, and a $2,500 contribution to the charity of her choice.

Everyone has a favorite show that is always on their "must" list during a Walt Disney World vacation. And we know the Wishes, IllumiNations, and Fantasmic are likely on that list.

College football fans can buy tickets now for the 10th annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge Presented by Disney.

The Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) football game featuring the North Carolina A&T Aggies of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Alabama A&M Bulldogs of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) will be played at the University of Central Florida (UCF) on Sunday, August 31.

The game is the first meeting between the two universities.

Guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios can dance the night away this summer.

The park is celebrating summer with a 'Rock Your Summer Side' dance party every night from 6-10 p.m. through August 22.
