Disney VoluntEARS are continuing to work hard and have a positive impact in communities around the world.
Recently in Argentina, VoluntEARS were joined by children at the Garrahan Hospital for a screening of Violetta in Concert as part of a program that bring Disney theatrical releases into children's hospitals.
Minnie and Mickey have been victims of Eminent Domain! This was my first thought upon hearing the announcement that Mickey's Toontown Fair was closing its doors and being leveled to make way for New Fantasyland. On my first visit to Walt Disney World, I was fortunate to visit Mickey's Birthdayland, which opened on June 18, 1988 to celebrate Mickey's 60th birthday.
If you're the parent of any Disney princess obsessed youngster you've likely stood in line more than once to meet The Princesses.
The Disney royalty meet-and-greet has quickly become a tradition during visits to the four theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, some people have been spending hours in line just to meet a certain Frozen duo. More on that later.
In the past couple of weeks Starbucks has opened two new locations at the Disney Parks and the two stores share a unique feature.
The stores opened in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland and in Downtown Disney West Side at Walt Disney World. And while both stores feature the famous brand's coffee and pastries, they also have a new feature that new for the company.

The Alex and Ani Disney Collection is now sporting all-new icon charms.
The collection was made up of more than eight different Disney symbols, birthstones, and initials and the new additions include signature charms inspired by Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Later this month Mickey's Fun Wheel from Disney California Adventure joins the collection.
A ship used in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean film series recently sunk off the coast of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The ship, The Brig Unicorn, was sailing to St. Lucia for repairs and "encountered difficulties" and then sank. There were nine crew members and a captain on board at the time, but no one was hurt in the accident. All crew members were rescued by the St. Vincent Coast Guard.
As we get closer and closer to the First Marvel/Disney movie that doesn't revolve around the heroes we know best, i.e. The Avengers, we seem to get more and more tastes of what we can expect. This week is no exception as Disney Parks reports a sneak peak coming to their locations. Starting July 4th, just in time for the big Independence day celebrations, Disney parks will showcase a special sneak peek of The Guardians of the Galaxy before they release August 1st.
The lush landscape at the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the Magic Kingdom is all an illusion.
What looks like real grass, trees, and shrubs is actually Disney magic hard at work. There are 350 fake shrubs, 55 synthetic trees, and fake grass at the Mine Train location. But there's also 20,000 real shrubs and 150 live oaks, cedars, and birches at the site.
