IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth Ending in the Second Half of 2019

Since October of 1999 Walt Disney World guests have enjoyed gathering each night on the shores of World Showcase Lagoon to watch the nightly spectacular IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. Today Disney announced that the popular nighttime show will end its run at the close of the 2019 summer season.

The Walt Disney Company tops Forbes' list of the World's Best Regarded Companies for 2018, moving up four spots from 2017, the first year that the rankings were compiled. Disney ranks No. 1, earning the highest marks among Forbes' 2018 Global 2000 companies.

2019 Atlanta Braves Spring Training Schedule at ESPN Wide World of Sports

Disney & Major League Baseball are both as American as apple pie, so it's no wonder that the Atlanta Braves have been making their spring home at the ESPN Wide World of Sports (WWoS) for more than 20 years. In fact the very first event held at WWoS was a Braves Spring Training Game. Sadly, 2019 will be the final year for The Atlanta Braves to hold Spring Training at Walt Disney World. Now is the time to make your travel plans to enjoy both of these the great American institutions in the same fabulous vacation.

Epcot's Main Entry Plaza Gets A New Look

Guests arriving at Epcot will be welcomed to the Park with a new look at the main entrance plaza. Nodding to the past as it embraces the transformative future, 12 flags featuring the six original icons of Epcot were raised to flank Spaceship Earth and the beautiful new fountain. Along with the flags a vibrant ribbon of light that is more than 400-yards long and new music in the entry plaza embrace the spirit of Epcot that continues to inspire us.

‘Harmonious’ Continues To Come Together At Epcot

Recent progress is on clear view when it comes to the future of Epcot, and the highly anticipated new nighttime extravaganza 'Harmonious.' The icon show platform with its moving fountains, moving lights, show action equipment, pyrotecnics, and six-story-tall central ring structure has been moved into place on the lagoon. While we're just seeing things in the construction stage, it's clear that the future is BIG.

Ranger the Baby Rhino Makes His Theme Park Debut

Spring is trying to make its way to the forward and that means Disney fans will soon be seeing a nw crop of adorable babies at Walt Disney World. Recently four-month-old white rhino calf, Ranger, made his big debut on the Kilimanjaro Safaris savanna at Disney's Animal Kingdom! New Prizes Make Festival Of The Arts Scavenger Hunt Even More Fun

Some of my favorite activities while strolling Epcot festivals are the scavenger hunts, and the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts is no different. Figment's Brush with the Masters is a fun little game that guests of all ages can participate in as they help Figment learn more about art in a scavenger hunt around World Showcase. This year fun new artistically interactive prizes await those guests that complete the hunt.
