When entering World Showcase from Future World you have two directional choices. You can tour clockwise and start in Mexico or you can tour in a counterclockwise direction starting in Canada.

Today we're going to visit Mexico, which is one of the more unique pavilions in World Showcase. What makes this pavilion different from the others is that aside from the outside dining on the lagoon and a few shops, the rest of the pavilion is inside the Mesoamerican pyramid that is the centerpiece of the pavilion.

Where to Find the Characters While Touring Epcot

I often hear people say that they don't think they'll take their kids to Epcot on a family trip to Walt Disney World because the kids would be "bored" since there's "nothing for kids" at Epcot.

I think it's safe to say we all know this isn't the case. From great attractions such as Soarin', Test Track, and of course The Seas with Nemo and Friends, to the Kidcot Fun Stops in each pavilion in World Showcase - there is definitely a lot for kids to do.

La Vida Antigua - Celebrating the Art and Artifacts of Ancient Mexico

The beautiful Mexico Pavilion is enchanting at night. The towering pre-Columbian pyramid at its center looks like it could be ominous. However those who venture inside are welcomed to the Mexico of ancient times with a museum display right inside the doors. On my last visit I shared my love of the brilliant Oaxacan Woodcarving Exhibit 'Animales Fantsticos' however this time I was delighted to find something new.

What To Do on a “No Kids” Day at Epcot

On the few occasions when my husband and I have visited the Magic Kingdom without the kids we always feel a little guilty. But, when we're at Epcot without the kids there is less guilt and a little more "Hey! We're having a grown up day!" That means no waiting in line to meet the characters, no whining about sore feet, and most importantly we can visit attractions WE want to see.

Holidays Around the World at Epcot

While many families gravitate towards the fantastic environment of the Magic Kingdom for their Christmas time fantasy, I have always loved the cultural diversity of Holidays Around the World at Epcot.
